Calvin and Fiona took Amelie, Ben, Ruth, and Ulmer with them to the location of Dream Summit.

It was the old couple’s curiosity that made them do this.

However, to their surprise, all the paths to the Dream Summit were sealed off. Nobody was allowed entrance. Calvin revealed his identity to the police officer, but he was impolitely told to back off.

It was a bit embarrassing for Calvin, as he wasn’t shown any respect in front of the youngsters. Calvin didn’t expect that his image wouldn’t work because his son was running a news channel!

Not wanting to leave things at that, Calvin made his son call and talk to the police officers. Only then, Calvin and others were allowed entrance, but their mobiles were all taken from them. And they were made to walk for a mile.

Before they even arrived at the Dream Summit, Amelie said, “Where’s the mountain? If there was a mountain, we would have all seen it by now.”

Calvin and Fiona didn’t say anything. Eventually, they reached the location, where t

Ulmer and others were returning home, and it started raining so heavily that Amelie was holding Ben’s hand. The thunderbolts were crossing the sky, and their rumbling noises made even the hearts of Calvin and Fiona to shiver.Ruth who was sitting next to Ulmer felt heart racing and jumping at times. Still, she tried to appear confident and strong because Ulmer was sleeping next to her.“How can he sleep when the rain is so scary?” Ruth wondered.Calvin, who was driving the car, was not able to see properly. So he stopped the vehicle on the side of the road. The rain was pouring so heavily that they couldn’t see anything through the windows. Calvin turned the wipers on, but they still couldn’t clearly see what’s ahead.Ruth opened a weather app and was shocked to see the information. “Crap, they say it's 20-22 cm rainfall. It can even reach up to 40 cm at certain intervals.”“This is going to cause a flood in the city,” Fiona opined. “40 cm rain is a lot.” She looked back at Ben. “The

Ulmer didn’t enter the house that night. Instead, he flew high into the sky and reached the clouds. There were so many of them, and all of them were pouring the rain down, which wasn’t a good sign.“This doesn’t look natural at all,” he was saying, and a lightning bolt came down at him. He deflected it aside, as it wasn’t actually a lightning bolt but some kind of a demon that had disguised as a lightning.Ulmer didn’t realize that until he looked at his left hand, which had a burnt mark on it. His left hand began to crumble slowly.“Hahaha,” the demonic lightning streaked through the sky around him in a circular fashion. “Once you’re bitten by my curse, nobody on earth can save you. Only death awaits you.”Ulmer cut his hand off near the forearm and then regrew the lost arm with ease. The demonic lightning was shocked by it. It came flying at his face this time, but Ulmer grabbed it.“H-How is this possible?” the demonic lightning was shocked. “How can you grab me when I’m in my ligh

Ulmer followed the vampire from a distance, thinking he could stay hidden. However, the vampire was able to see him. Realizing that he was being followed, he screamed in a high-pitch voice that was not even audible for regular humans. But then groups of bats from all over the city and the outskirts began to fly high and coverage around Ulmer and became as big as a cloud. There were hundreds of thousands of them, and they all attacked Ulmer, trying to devour every single bit.The vampire, on the other hand, used this opportunity to fly away and return to his boss’ home.He entered the hall and said, “There was a man who made the clouds go away, but I dealt with him, Boss.”“By dealing, you mean bringing him along?” Graecon coldly glared at him.“W-What are you…” the vampire was saying, but he quickly turned back.Ulmer was standing at the entrance, with not a single injury on him. Even his clothes were completely fine. There was not a single tear or a hole on his clothes.“H-How are yo

Ulmer laughed happily. “I’m so lucky. I wasn’t expecting to meet one of those 300 shitheads so easily.”Graecon gritted his teeth and tapped the floor with his staff. Black spears rose out of the floor from all around Ulmer and pierced his body from every direction, or so it seemed.Ulmer appeared behind the old man in the blink of an eye.Graecon’s heart skipped a beat because Ulmer vanished from his sight. But, thanks to the voices in his head, he was able to swivel and block Ulmer’s punch that came from behind.“Ho…” Ulmer was surprised. “How did you block my punch? Do you have eyes in the back of your head? Or do you have an extremely heightened sense of hearing or something?”Graecon’s staff released electricity and electrocuted Ulmer’s body. He expected Ulmer to get roasted, but Ulmer didn’t even blink let alone flinch. “W-Why isn’t my lightning affecting you?”“Because it’s not even worth my fart!” Ulmer grabbed the staff in the middle and squeezed it and broke it.Graecon jump

This wasn’t the first time that Graecon had seen someone heal from nasty injuries, but they were all very powerful people such as the pureblooded vampires, or those from the three supreme families, or those of the mysterious Wolfe clan and so on.So, Graecon couldn’t help but feel nervous now. “You… are you from the three supreme families?”“Three supreme families?” Ulmer’s expression changed. “That’s new to me. What the hell are those? Mafia families?”Graecon just kept watching, trying to understand if Ulmer was being sarcastic or not. “You really don’t know about the three supreme families?”“Right now, the only thing I want to know about is you, old man,” Ulmer said. “So, why don’t you tell me more about yourself? I have a feeling that you’re one of the 300 Thorns, as your powers are extraordinary. For an old man, your stamina and your aura are pretty daunting. It must be because of the strange powers that are residing in you, and that’s why I think you’re one of the 300 Thorns. D

Ulmer returned home, and things have been cool for a few days. In fact, everyone from the Ross’ family side came and lived in Jamie’s home, which nobody expected, but this was all made possible because of Calvin and Fiona’s insistence. They gave good marks to Ben and insisted their son Ross not to delay his marriage with Amelie. So, Ross Richard had to come to personally check for himself and see if Ben was really as good as his parents claimed him to be.In the past few days, Ross noticed that this house was peaceful, which was something he had not been expecting. He was someone who had been living the busiest life in the sprawling metropolis of Bronich city, where the skyline pierced the wide blue yonder, and the streets filled with the hum of urban life, and the shadows full of dirty and nasty activities without break. So, he did not expect to find a little bit of solace in this small abode of Jamie, and it had little to do with Jamie or his wife, but had more to do with the kind-h

On the day before the engagement, Ross wanted to take everyone to a restaurant. And so he personally invited Mollie in the morning. He thought she would be happy because he told her they would be going to a five-star restaurant. However, Mollie told him she wouldn’t come, which quite surprised him because she looked unhappy.“May I know the reason?” Ross asked her. He treated her just as he would treat his own mother.“I am cooking for everyone at home, so why would you want to go to a restaurant?” Mollie asked him.“Ah…” Ross understood the reason she seemed upset. “It’s not that I don’t like the dishes you make. They are pretty good, but you should also relax every now and then.”“But what they make in hotels is costly but not healthy. Why should we pay a lot of money to eat there?” Mollie asked. “Let’s go to a regular hotel instead of a five-star hotel. At least, this would save money.”“How can we go to a cheap hotel?” Jesscia quickly intervened. “We’re the Richard family. If som

Everyone ordered what they wanted, and it was Ruth who ordered the most items. Ivy told her she shouldn’t order more than she could eat, but Ross and his parents told her it was fine.“We don’t come here every day, so let’s just eat her what she wants,” Ross said.“But don’t eat too many varieties, or your stomach could get upset,” Fiona warned.“Yes, ma’am,” Ruth played dumb, but she believed that they had no idea of what she was capable of. She could eat a lot more than your average girl her age.She couldn’t wait for the items to come.First, starters were brought, which were mostly vegetarian items. Fiona and Calvin didn’t eat too much, but the young ones were quickly devouring everything.Ulmer didn’t hesitate to eat the food, either. After his fight with Graecon, he had stayed dull and frustrated for a few days, and this was the first day where he was on his way to mental recovery as a clone, having accepted the reality that he was just a clone and could never match the origina

However, her voice was not steady.
