Somewhere else in the city.

At Lord Dracarius’ mansion.

Dracarius received the princess with a grand welcome. With flowers and orchestra and wonderful fragrance drifting in the air, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Dracarius had exceeded her expectations.

As Brianna stepped out of the flying palanquin, everyone kneeled and fully lowered their heads. Only Dracarius and his family members were slightly bowing to her.

“It is an honor that Her Highness has decided to grace my home,” Dracarius greeted her. He was a handsome, muscular man with a scar running across his nose.

Standing next to him was his fat son, Edwin, who was twenty-five years old now, but he looked bigger and taller than Dracarius. If not for his excessively chubby appearance, he might have looked handsome. “Princess Brianna…” Edwin couldn’t hide his affection for the princess because of her impeccable beauty as well as the fact that they were both childhood friends who hadn’t met in nearly ten years.

In the afternoon.Ulmer and others were roaming the Bright Moon Circle. Ulmer did not hold back when it came to spending money. He bought clothes, hats, belts, and other accessories for everyone in the house. He bought goggles especially for Kate because he couldn’t ask for himself. And Ayana had told him that Kate loved to wear cool glasses. After Ulmer bought a pair of golden-framed glasses and then gave them to Kate, it almost brought Kate to tears. He put the goggles on and then made a gesture that looked like he was blowing a kiss out, which was equivalent to ‘thank you’ in sign language. The costly glasses cost twenty silver, and that was not a small amount. Most people would buy glasses in the range of one to five silver, so putting twenty silver for a kid seemed a bit excessive for Dustin and Robin, but Ulmer was spending his own money. And it both surprised and worried them. They were surprised because they didn’t know he had that much money, as he kept taking coins out of hi

Ulmer stood, and the sound of him clenching his fist was heard even by Henry.“Are you perhaps coming to pinch us in your wife’s stead?” Henry asked.“Pfft,” Henry’s four friends spilled the food in their mouths and burst into laughter. “Henry, stop joking when we are chewing. If food gets stuck in our throats, who’s going to save us?”“Ah, my bad,” Henry picked up a glass of fruit wine, which had very little alcohol in it. “I just said what I felt like.”Ulmer walked to their table and said, “Apologize.”“Ah?” Henry snorted. “I can’t hear you.” “I won’t ask you again,” Ulmer said in a deep voice. “Apologize to me and to my family.”“Or what?” Henry asked arrogantly, not even looking at Ulmer.Ulmer’s fist was still clenched. He raised his arm and smashed the table in one blow, sending all the dishes flying.“What the hell is wrong with you!” Henry’s friends shouted at Ulmer. “Manager! This man is causing a nuisance. Punish him, and then kick him out.”The manager speedily arrived th

After eating the food brought from home, Suki asked Ulmer to take her to the giant spinning wheel. But Dustin told her that she just ate and so riding that wheel would make her throw up the food. She he told her to wait until the evening. Even after he had given her a perfect reason, she still sulked and stopped talking to her dad.As they kept roaming and observing some circus shows, some stage shows while spending a lot of money, Suki soon forgot about the giant spinning wheel. Before they knew it, the night had fallen. And many people were trying to get to the lake to watch the moon and also to drink the water from it because people believed that the water at night would have healing properties. However, people couldn’t just rush there. They had to travel in line at many different places around the perimeter of the lake.Ulmer had to pay 2 silver coins per head just to get in the line.Henry and his friends appeared out of nowhere and stood in the line behind them.Ulmer had to sta

“Relax, guys. I’m not going to hurt you,” Henry told his friends, but they still quickly left the line.Ulmer snorted. “Your friends? No. They don’t seem to trust you in the slightest.”Henry’s face turned darker because he felt like his friends humiliated him just now. (I will make sure to break their bones once I get back!)It didn’t take long for them to reach the lake, which was slightly glowing from the moonlight. When someone touched the waters, the glow increased. Dustin first drank the water, and the cysts on his body were gone in a matter of seconds, and he started feeling better. “It really is working…” he was shocked. He wasn’t allowed to drink again as the guards didn’t let him. One could only drink as much as their hands could hold the water. It was Robin’s turn next. After drinking, she felt her stomach pain alleviating.Suki drank next, but nothing changed as she was healthy. Then it was Kate’s turn. He wondered if the water would be able to cure his dumbness. He drank t

The ice cream shopkeeper was carrying a big sack with Kate inside it. Kate wasn’t conscious because he had been knocked out.The shopkeeper stopped by a dark alley and began to recite a mantra to form a teleportation spell.“Tsk, it’s taking longer than I thought,” he got a little frustrated. “The magnetic field of the lake is very strong. It’s affecting the portal from forming.”A portal began to form in the air, but it was also closing rather fast.“Dammit. I should go a bit further away from the lake,” he thought. “But if anyone sees this bag and asks what is inside, it’ll be troublesome. This boy had been oozing very pure energy. I have to deliver him to Lady Brianna no matter what.”“Here you are…” Suddenly, someone entered his vision, startling him.Ulmer’s fist came shooting through the air like a missile. The shopkeeper moved his head out of the way, but he couldn’t do it properly, and so part of his face got hit.He was forced to let go of the sack as he got sent flying into

The water clones weren’t weak at all. They were as efficient as soldiers leveled in the sixties. And there were four of them.On top of that, ordinary punches weren’t working on them at all as Ulmer’s fists were going right through them. But then Ulmer started grabbing their bodies, startling them. He bashed their heads against each other and destroyed two of them. He punched another one in the chest and broke his body into many drops of water. The fourth and the last clone stood in surprise and shock.“How are you able to touch me?” the fourth clone asked.“You’re not the only one who can control water,” Ulmer said. “Besides, I don’t even need to use that ability to deal with the likes of you.” He clawed at the clone and tore it to pieces.None of the clones were able to regenerate anymore.“These clones consumed a decent amount of my spiritual power,” Ulmer was slightly huffing.Everyone around him was murmuring.“There’s a kidnapper among us,” Ulmer said aloud. “He’s trying to take

In the past, Ulmer was a kid with many issues. He didn’t have anybody he felt like they truly loved. And that wasn’t the worst part. He didn’t even have anybody that loved him at least as a pretext. His friends, his parents, his siblings, his friends, and everyone didn’t treat him well. His grandmother was the only exception. But he couldn’t spend time with her because his dad didn’t allow her to stay at their house. So, he had no one to spend time with him.Growing up, Ulmer didn’t catch any bad habits like drinking, smoking, or consuming drugs. But he did have one bad habit that plagued him for years. When he was around twelve years old, he first saw a naked picture of a woman online, and something about that picture stirred his body.It was the first time his penis hardened, and he didn’t know what to do with it. He squeezed it, but it wouldn’t go away. More than that, the naked picture of that woman was not leaving his mind. That was the start of it all.Since then, Ulmer dived in

Also, it’s actually nice if there's a five to six year gap between the husband and wife.”Mollie gently held Ayana’s cheeks and lifted up her head.“Where did you hide such a pretty girl all this time from us, Ulmer?” Mollie said. “You will get punished for this later.”“Ulmer always talks greatly about you, Grandmother,” Ayana said. “So, please forgive him this once.”“Hahaha,” Mollie laughed heartily. “Your wife is already defending you so much, Ulmer. However, her voice was not steady. She was observing Minerva’s pulse.Minerva was lying on the bed in the medical chambers not far from the royal palace.“However, her system has integrated with her body, so we can’t take it out,” Irvi said. “If we do it right now, she will die.”“Is it not possible to separate the system without killing her?” Ulmer asked.“It is, but that’s only possible when she overcomes the system?” Irvi responded. “The chances of that ever happening are slim.”Ulmer frowned but then said, “Do what you can to heal her.”“I will. That’s my job, after all,” Irvi said. “No matter how wicked a person may be, if they come to my doorstep, I will not turn my back toward them.”Ulmer slightly bowed his head to her and walked out onto the balcony of that building, where Minerva’s dad, Neodus was present.“I t
