After teleporting to the other side of the entrance door, Ulmer saw a group of four guys playing poker in the distance.

They looked bored.

Ulmer walked toward them, his footsteps loud enough to be heard.

The four men looked at him and were startled and confused at the same time. Who was he? Where did he come from? How did he even get here when the door was closed?

“I heard this was an old entrance, not used by people anymore,” Ulmer uttered, “so how come there’s protection even in this place? It seems the security of this underground criminal city is tighter than I thought. I was not expecting criminals to be doing their guarding duties so diligently.”

“Identify yourself!” The four men grabbed their guns and pointed at Ulmer. “Who are you? State your name!”

“Easy, guys. Maybe, I’m here to register in the city?” Ulmer said. “I heard that there’s a process where we can join this city and become part of it?”
