Chapter 107: Feigning Illness

"What? Con...concussion?" Susan turned pale with fright, staggering back weakly.

Jason quickly supported her. Susan cried guiltily, "It's all my fault, I shouldn't have..."

She blamed herself. Her parents were old and unfamiliar with high-tech cars. Letting them drive something so nice was bound to lead to an accident. She should have been more considerate.

Jason's heart ached for her. He reassured, "Don't worry, I'm here. I'll go take a look at her."

Though concussion was serious, most hospitals could treat it. He would examine her more thoroughly for internal injuries or hidden conditions.

But at his words, James Brown yelled angrily, "You want to make things worse? The doctor said she can't be agitated. You're the last person she wants to see now. Stay the hell away from her!"

Jason frowned, but patiently explained, "I know some medical skills. I just want to check on her condition, and she's still unconscious anyway."
