That evening, Susan and Jason returned home laughing and chatting. Mary Martinez was dumbfounded. What was going on? The two seemed to have reconciled. This wouldn't do!

"James, this isn't good. Did that wastrel Jason somehow trick Susan with sweet talk? She looks like she has forgiven him, but this is infidelity. It absolutely cannot be forgiven." Mary Martinez said anxiously.

James Brown put down his newspaper and glanced over thoughtfully. "It's probably just a misunderstanding resolved. Susan seems much happier too, so it's a good thing."

"Good my ass! I don't care if it was a misunderstanding or not. How can I kick him out if Susan forgives him? He's trying to keep freeloading here, but I absolutely won't tolerate it!" Mary Martinez gnashed her teeth.

Just then, she noticed Jason packing up his few belongings, as if preparing to move out. Mary's eyes lit up. Was the wastrel finally getting the hint that he couldn't keep squatting here? James Brown was also surprised. "What are
