Chapter 35 Back from the Brink

"The lack of blood circulation from being pressed down earlier is likely causing the patient's complexion. There's nothing to worry about."

With that, he hastily began pressing on acupoints, demonstrating skilled and seasoned emergency procedures. But the elder's condition showed no sign of improving.

Jason anxiously watched on the sidelines. Roger Cox's technique was decent and his emergency response would have sufficed under normal circumstances. However, his inexperience was evident. The medical knowledge he learned from his master was likely only superficial.

Medicine was profoundly complex. Grasping but a fraction of it could already be deemed miraculous by laymen.

Jason had wanted to step in and treat the patient directly, but his way was barred by the white-collar worker and several others. They seemed to be deliberately obstructing him to curry favor with Timothy Harris.
