Back on his Feet

In less than thirty minutes, they were able to arrive in front of the hospital after beating the morning traffic.

Jason got out of the car even before James could get out to open the door for him, and he dashed into the hospital as fast as he could with thoughts of anticipation roaming in his mind. His face was not bright, but it had flickers of hope scattered all over it.

“Good morning, Sir.” Greeted one of the nurses at the reception, and Jason quickly stopped after he almost walked past her as his mind was already focused on seeing his Grandfather.

“Oh! I am so sorry. Good morning.”

“No problem, Sir. How may I help you?” The nurse asked with a smile that expressed the fact that she recognized Jason even though she had to find out where he was headed.

“Can I see the Doctor?”

“You mean Doctor Brenda?”

“Yes! Yes, please! Can I see her?”

“Sure! Just a moment, please.” The nurse nodded with a smile, and then she picked up the telephone to dial a number while Jason waited
