Convergence

James wondered why Jason decided that they wait outside the building, but he couldn’t ask any questions. First, the surroundings were strange, there was nobody around, and there was just one building at the end of the lonely road.

A few seconds after they got to the location, Jason stared at the building, and memories of the past flooded into his mind. The building used to be his foster home until it was partly destroyed by flood, and no one cared to fix it. The children were forced to sleep on one side of the building, while they prayed for a miracle.

Jason could remember all the ill-treatment he got from the people in the foster home and even some of the children who bullied him. He suffered greatly until he was lucky enough to have been adopted by a young couple who couldn’t have children, even though his happiness didn’t last for so long.
