Day of Reckoning

The dark room was silent, but it was almost possible to hear Marcelo’s heart as it pounded aggressively while he struggled to catch his breath.

“Oh, wow!” Jason nodded in excitement the moment he looked at the screen of the phone after a few seconds of silently waiting for a notification to pop up, and immediately he heard the sound of the vibration which was accompanied by a beep sound from the phone, he looked at the screen.
