Without wasting any time, Jason lifted his bid paddle and held onto it firmly with his right hand, while his smile remained intact.

“Mr. Jones is up for one point one million dollars! That’s right! I love this! Today is the best day of my life! Yeah!”

For some reason, Elliot seemed very excited, as he continued to Jump up and down the stage, clapping and screaming at t the top of his voice. But it appeared that his audience was enjoying watching him display such vibrance, as they continued to smile without saying a word.

“You really are up for this, you don’t seem like you are giving up anytime soon,” Bianca said to Jason with her glass of champagne close to her lips, causing Jason to look at her for a few seconds.

“Never, I am not going to stop,” Jason said softly without letting go of his smile.

While Elliot continued to scream and Jump all over the stage, Larry turned toward Jason’s direction, and their eyes met instantly, but it appeared that he had a smirk on his face wh

The next hour was followed by bidding for the rest of the remaining cars which were up front grabs. But it seemed like Larry wasn’t interested in any of them just like Jason who sat back and enjoyed the show, watching as some others had their way making purchases according to their desires. “Don’t you like that car over there? It looks very fanciful.” Bianca said to Jason, pointing to the red flashy Jaguar D-type, but when Jason took a look at it, he didn’t seem really interested, and even the look on his face could tell. “Nah, I don’t like the shape of its body. It looks like a little boat with four tires.” Jason said softly, shaking his head. Bianca found his words so funny, and she laughed out loudly, holding her chest with her left hand, coughing severally. “Are you okay?” Jason asked, seeing that her cough was becoming more intense. “I am…I am okay. I am totally fine.” She said it to him, giggling as she lifted her body, and stared at him with so much admiration, while

“Now for the final purchase! I assure you this is going to blow your mind away! Prepare for it!” Elliot screamed, drawing the attention of everyone in the hall, including Jason who kept watching with Bianca, waiting to see what he had to show them. “Behold! The beautiful, and well-crafted beauty I have for you guys is one that has never been seen before. And I assure you! I assure you that you are going to love it! Get ready!” Elliot turned to look at the guards behind him, and after he had given them a sign with a nod, they left at once, and he returned his gaze to his audience to keep them busy with his enticing words. “Just hold on a bit! You all know that this is the main event. Oh yes, I can see your faces brightening up already. You will love this, I promise you!” Just like Elliot said, the faces of almost everyone in the room were brighter except for Jason’s whose countenance was just curious and confused.“I thought we were already done.” He thought to himself, but it

Jason looked at Bianca after she said those words, and he couldn’t believe his eyes and the words he heard from her mouth. “How can she look so excited about all of this? These are her fellow women!” Jason thought to himself, but it appeared that she wasn’t in his head, and couldn’t hear his thoughts. Realizing that the car auction was a decoy and that the main purpose of the event was to sell girls to the highest bidder, Jason felt so pained and a little bit worried that he could be in some kind of trouble if he was seen in that kind of place. “Harry warned me!” He thought to himself, struggling to maintain a bright face, but that took entirely everything in him. He looked around again and realized that the ladies seemed more excited than most of the men, as they cheered up the girls in chains who bent their faces in fright and shame. Some of their clothes were ripped apart, and it was obvious that they were shaking. “I can see that you all are excited! I told you! I told y

“Yeah, I think I like that one by the left end also, she will fetch good money,” Bianca said with a smile, turning to look at Jason who obviously didn't care about her thoughts, even though he faked a smile. “We shall begin with this blonde beauty right here, don’t you like her? Young and vibrant!” Elliot said to the crowd, as he dragged the first lady by the right corner, and forced her to turn to look at the people in the hall who cheered at her and made silky remarks at her. “I see that you love you love her already, but you already know that she is not going to be cheap. She is going at a very high price, but I am sure that you all came prepared.” Eliot said with a smirk on his face, still firmly gripping the blonde girl who whimpered with her legs shaking like she was cold she shivery. She couldn’t even lift her face, as fear gripped her entire body. The chain used to constrain her had succeeded in giving her a mark to claim her, and it was followed by so many bruises, and

Harry remained silent, and it was really obvious that was in doubt of the words that Jason spoke. “Are you really sure about this? It could really get dangerous out there.” “I am sure, Harry. I just need to spend a little more time here, and once I am done with what I came for, I will be out of here, I promise.” Jason said with a whisper, and then there were a few seconds of silence between them, even though his mind wasn't at rest as the stillness in the room. “What’s your plan? What do you really want to do now?” Harry asked, getting rid of the silence which was beginning to linger. Jason thought about it, but it was really obvious that he didn’t have a strategic plan, as he had never intended to get involved with that kind of deal. He remained silent for a while, going through his mind in search of the perfect solution to the encounter he just had, and was going to get back to anytime soon. “I don’t really have any new plan, Harry. “Oh, shit!” Jason exclaimed while he kept his eyes on the door. “I really have to go now, Harry. I will talk to you later.” “Is everything okay, Young Master? Are you there?” Harry asked from the other side of the line, but Jason ignored him, and stood up from the toilet seat. “I will be right out, just a minute.” He said in response to the man standing outside the room. He quickly turned off the water running in the sink and looked at his reflection in the mirror, making sure he wasn’t looking suspicious, when he was satisfied, he gently moved to the door and uncooked it. “Hello, sorry about that,” Jason said to the middle-aged man standing outside as soon as he opened the door, but the man ignored him and rushed into the room, shutting the door behind him. “Hello to you too…” Jason whispered, and then he sighed and returned to the hall, walking as slowly as he could. “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s a rap! Jason made payments immediately after Larry was done, and then he walked out of the building with the two ladies walking behind him as though they had been compelled to. “This way please, I will take you to get your purchase.” One of the guards in white suits said to Jason with a smile on his face, and they left together with Jason following right behind him. As soon as they started to walk out of the hall, the bodyguards Jason came with followed him immediately, making sure that they weren’t keeping a far distance away from him. They continued walking until they got outside the building. “This way, please.” The man in white suit said to Jason, pointing to the back of the building, and they continued walking with Jason looking all over the place. It seemed like he was the only person who had left the building apart from Larry as the rest of the guests were still in the hall exchanging pleasantries, and having all sorts of discussions. “Here it is.” The Chevrolet sports car Jas

You should come, we have a lot of things to talk about.” Larry continued, and then he turned to his left and signaled to his bodyguard in a black suit who quickly walked up to him, and stood very close to him. Larry whispered some words to him, and then he pulled out a card from his jacket which he handed over to Jason. “There you have it, that’s the VIP card to my club. All you need to do is to show these to my men, and they will let you through.” Larry said as soon as his bodyguard handed over the card to Jason who took it and glanced through it for a while. “I will be there,” Jason said with a slight nod, and Larry chuckled in satisfaction. “Good, I will see you around then,” Larry said with his smile intact, as he extended his right hand to

  • Marry me

It had been a month since Julius was brought out of prison, and everything was going as everyone had hoped for. He had been of good conduct, keeping to the conditions that were given to him by Jason. But that didn’t mean that any chances could be taken with him. His reputation as a notorious criminal who had claimed lives made it quite difficult to trust him. The fact that he had been exonerated from the guilt of his actions was too much grade for him, and it would have been foolish of him to let it go to waste. He had spent the entire month begging for Shirley’s forgiveness, but she kept her distance, maintaining a mutual relationship with him which was based on the fact that they had a child together. Xavier on the other hand was old enough to understand that sometimes things don’t always go the way we want them. Even though he wished that his parents could be together someday, he also knew that his mother was only trying to be safe. She didn’t want to have to repeat the sam

  • Conditional Freedom

Days turned to weeks, and then to a month. Jason fulfilled his promise to Xavier and made sure he went to one of the best schools in the city. He knew that the boy still thought about his father even though he stopped talking about him, probably because his mind was occupied with school assignments, and some of the things Jason got him involved in just to make sure he stayed away from silly acts. Seated with Lord Walker, Jason waited patiently for the old man to speak, aware of what was about to be heard. “Jack?” Lord Walker leaned forward before he continued. “I know that Julius isn’t particularly the best Uncle in the entire world, but he is still family. I know that this is a very difficult decision for you to make. But you have to do this for the sake of the boy…” Lord Walker paused for a few seconds just to be certain that Jason was listening to him. He sighed softly and continued with a more audible tone. “Keeping him there way cause be painful for the boy even thoug

  • Reunion

Standing in front of Jason was Clark, the same best friend who turned out to be one of his enemies. He had lost his charm and confidence and almost looked like a better. He couldn’t even look at Jason for more than a few seconds before he bent his face to the ground in shame. It appeared that his outfit was oversized, but that was only proof that he had lost a lot of weight. “Why are you here, Clark? I am sure you didn’t just come to stare at me.” Jason broke the silence between them, staring at Clark with a smirk on his face. Brenda would have asked a few questions, but as soon as Jason mentioned the name of the man standing in front of them, she remembered some of the stories he told him about how his best friend betrayed him and went after his wife. She was only interested to know why Clark was there. “I am here to ask for your forgiveness, Jason. I also want to appreciate you for getting me out of jail.” Clark managed to say with a shaky tone. He couldn’t even look at Ja

  • I am Pregnant!

It had been three days since Xavier and his mother pleaded that Julius be set free but nothing had been done about it. Jason was taking his time to make a decision about his step-uncle’s fate. It seemed like it was going to take more time before he could be able to come t a conclusion. Lord Walker himself was wondering why Jason had not said anything about it, but he also knew that he was worried about his safety. After seeing and hearing what Julius was capable of, Jason had no other option than to keep the decision pending until he was done with some of the plans he had in mind. First, he enrolled Xavier in high school. He attended one of the best schools in Granada Hills, and the goal was to make sure that the young man didn’t need up on the streets ever again. Shirley on the other hand was going through a rehabilitation process. She was made to speak to someone and undergo struct measures of check which were often conducted to make sure she didn’t go back to her old habi

  • Release Him

The next day, it was finally time to bring back Lord Walker from the hospital after his recovery. Jason went together with the Butler, Brenda, and Xavier who insisted that he was going to go with them. Not only was he eager to see his mother, but he also wanted to see his Grandfather who almost sacrificed himself for his sake. By the time they arrived at the hospital, the old man was already seated on the bed while one of the nurses attending to him handed him over his drugs and a glass of water. “Thank you, my dear.” He said to the nurse as soon as he was done with his medication while he handed over the empty glass to her. He turned to his visitors and the brightness of his face increased at once, causing him to gesture to them at once. “I know what you are about to say, Jack…” He shook his head, but that wasn’t going to stop Jason from expressing himself. “That was really silly, Grandpa! You almost got yourself killed!” Jason walked up to the old man ahead of the other

Xavier hesitated for a while, but he eventually mustered the guts to move. “Go ahead.” Jason urged him as soon as he took the first steps, and he continued moving, eyes on his father who was shocked to see him. Julius could tell that Xavier was truly his son, he didn’t think he needed any DNA to prove that. The resemblance was alarming, and the fact that the boy reminded him of himself when he was about the same age was enough. But he didn’t seem like he was the proudest father at that moment. He was glad that he had been given the opportunity to see his son, but he was equally ashamed of himself. Unable to get closer to the iron bars, he stood where he was, waiting patiently for Xavier to get closer to him. The boy stood in front of his father, staring at him without knowing what exactly he was supposed to say at that moment. The reunion wasn’t as pleasant as he had expected it to be. Father and son remained for over a minute, but their eyes said a lot to each other while

  • His Father

With their panic rising, Jason and Brenda paced along the hallway, waiting for anyone to come out of the theater. It had gotten so long that Jason had to send for Cara who came along with some guards to take Henry back to the Villa while they continued waiting anxiously. Eventually, the Doctor came out of the theater dripping with sweatballs that ran down his face. “Doctor?! What’s going on?” Jason asked anxiously, but instead of giving him a response, the Doctor moved to Brenda and whispered some words into her ear, making sure that Jason wasn’t going to hear their conversation. Brenda responded with a whisper as well before the Doctor nodded and hurried back to the theater without saying a word to Jason whom he only stared at while he expected him to say something. “Why didn’t he say anything to me?! What did he say, babe? Talk to me!” Jason moved closer to Brenda who looked like she didn’t know how to tell him what the Doctor whispered into her ear. “Brenda?” Jason call

  • Seizure

Brenda was silent for a while, but Jason was patient enough to wait for a response to his question. Firstly, she grabbed Henry from Jason and made sure he was sitting comfortably on her legs. She took in a deep breath which she let out slowly before she turned to look at Jason. “I am listening, Brenda. What were you guys discussing back there?”“Nothing really. Just girls’ talk.” “Okay?” Jason featured with both hands, indicating that he wanted to hear more details about their discussion. “I thought you said you were not so much interested in her, Jay. Why bothering to ask what we were discussing?”“Me? When did I say that?”“Well, you implied it.” Brenda shrugged, looking at Jason with a smirk on her face. “Just tell me what you guys were talking about back there, Brenda. She could have said something that needs to be verified by me. No other person knows her like I do.” Jason insisted. “Okay, fine.” Brenda sighed. “I was just worried about the way she looked, that’s

  • Motherhood

The sight of his ex-wife made Jason sigh, his previous countenance gave way for a frown that appeared as he stared at Isabella who managed to push the two guards aside because they let her do so. But they went after her and grabbed her at once, restraining her efforts to get close to Jason or her son. “Jason! Tell them to let me go! Let me go! Let me go!” Isabella continued to struggle with the guards, but she eventually got tired, panting in exhaustion while Jason and Brenda watched her with a little surprised written all over their faces. Henry recognized his biological mother, but it didn’t look like he was really concerned or excited to see her. He just stared at her as though he was trying to recall where he met her. “Tell them to let me go, Jason! Please.” Isabella pleaded, but Jason wasn’t really interested in the words that she uttered. What made him curious was the fact that she looked very unkempt and malnourished. It had been a few weeks since he last saw her, and h
