Jason stared at the suspicious nurse for a few seconds, and even though she had forced herself to smile, he could see that she was up to something. Waking up at the sound of his alarm, Jason quickly rushed into the shower, had a bath, and went to his wardrobe. As soon as he opened the two doors to the wardrobe, he looked at the suits hanging in there, but it was a bit difficult for him to make a choice. “Which one?” He said with a whisper, still looking at the suits one after the other. There were many of them he had not worn, but he still found it very difficult to pick the right one, especially something with a color that matched his taste. The next step for Jason was to get flowers for Brenda, and he knew the right place to go. He remembered the flower store where he bought the first and last flowers he purchased three years earlier for his ex-girlfriend, Meredith, the same night she ran away with his lifesaving. The memories of the flower shop were quite unpleasant, but he decided to ignore them since he was in another phase of his life and didn't need anything to ruin his mood. The curtains were half closed, giving way to the rays that hit Brenda’s eyes while she groaned in her sleep.
