An hour close to the close of work, Jason dressed up in a nice black suit with lovely brown shoes to match. He wore the most expensive Hublot wristwatches in his collection and applied a nice cologne.

He grabbed everything he needed, and then he headed out of his room with his evergreen smile intact. The thoughts of the revelation Julian made about killing his father wanted to make him feel really bad, but he had spent the previous hours getting over it, and decided to worry less since it wasn’t going to change anything, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to get justice.

Hallway to the elevator, he saw Harry walking out of Lord Walker’s room with a tray containing an empty teacup and saucer.

“Harry? You are back?”

“Yes, Young Master. I came back about an hour ago, but it seemed like you were taking a nap.”

“Oh, yes. I decided to take some rest before going to my meeting with the employees in the company.” Jason sighed just before he noticed that the empty cup on the tray wa

Jason waited patiently for Meredith to approach while he wondered what she was doing there, knowing fully that she didn't work there, and didn’t have any qualifications for that to the best of his knowledge. “Meredith? What are you doing here?” Jason asked calmly as soon as Meredith stood in front of him. His eyes went to the basket she was carrying, and he saw that there was a bottle of wine, some fruits, and cupcakes inside it. “I should be the one asking you what you are doing here, Jason. Dressed like that…” Meredith gave Jason a look of disdain while he stood calmly with his evergreen smile intact. “I don’t know where you got this fancy suit from, but I think this is the only time I have ever seen you look decent. You have always been a shabby-looking pauper, Jason.” Meredith scoffed, but Jason decided to ignore her peskiness.“You still haven’t told me why you are here, Meredith, and with all the things in that basket. Is there a fest or something?”“And how is that any

Jason was satisfied with everything he heard from the two Managers of the company. He heaved a heavy sigh of relief, and then he pushed the door slowly, opening it wider before he looked at Declan who looked at his direction as soon as he saw him walking in. Xena looked as well, and as soon as she saw Jason walking in with James right behind him, she glared at them from hair to toe. She tried to recall where she had seen Jason, but because he was looking different, she found it a little difficult until he was very close to her. “Hello, Mr. Coleman!” Jason greeted the Manager who observed his face for a while before he was able to recognize him. “Mr. Caruso? Is that you?” Declan said with his brows forming arches while he looked at Jason with so much surprise on his face. He looked at James who was standing behind Jason, and thoughts of who he was ran through his mind in a flash. “Hello, Miss Hunt.” Jason waved at Xena with a smile on his face, and that was when she was able

Again, Declan was flabbergasted after listening to the words he heard from the young man seated in front of him. His heartbeat increased each time he looked at the face of Jason who didn’t look like he was joking, and even when he looked at the guard standing behind him, he didn’t find any of their faces soothing. “Who amongst you is the new CEO of this company?” Declan said with a shaky tone, and then he swallowed hard saliva while struggling to maintain eye contact with Jason who chuckled as soon as he asked the question. “Who do you think, Mr. Coleman?” Jason said calmly, and then he turned to look at James for a few seconds before returning his gaze to Declan. “Do you think he is the new CEO? Or do you think I am he?” Jason lifted his eyebrows while he waited to get a response from the Manager who looked at him for a while and then looked at James who made no move even with the way he was looking at him. “The new CEO’s name is Jack Walker, he is the Grandson of Lord Walker

Gradually, the tension in the room began to reduce, and the Manager was able to breathe normally without having to sigh in order to get relief. “I need you to summon everyone whose position is very relevant in this company. I want to see the Assistant Manager, the Supervisor, the Assistant Supervisor, the Account Officer, the Human Resource Manager, the Marketing Manager, and any other person whose position puts him or her at the helm of affairs.” “Understood, Young Master! I will do that right away! I have already told everyone about the meeting, I will just forward am email to them, telling them to all gather at the conference room immediately.” “Good, I like that!” Jason nodded in satisfaction while Declan leaned forward to his computer and sent the email at once without taking his eyes off the monitor until he was certain that the email had gone through. “Sent! I have sent the notification, Young Master! They should be on their way to the conference room now.”“Excellent,

Xena and her cousin Liam were more apprehensive than any other person in the room. They looked at each other, and at that moment, it dawned on them that they had gotten into a deep mess. “Welcome, Mr. Walker! It’s a pleasure getting to meet you!” “You are welcome, Young Master! We are pleased to finally have you in our midst!”The pleasant comments continued coming from everyone in the company except Xena and her cousin Liam who were utterly dumbfounded. They could barely keep their eyes on Jason even for a few seconds, and they couldn’t get rid of the panic that surged into their nerves. “Thank you so much for your kind words!” Jason said calmly, looking at the rest of the staff members who had pleasant smiles on their faces. He paused for a few seconds, and then he continued with a more audible tone. “This meeting is meant to last for less than an hour, and I intend to be as brief as possible. The sole purpose of this meeting is to introduce myself to you and also to make a

Liam struggled with both his breath and his heartbeat. He could see the looks on the faces of some of the other employees in the company who evidently detested him and his cousin for their arrogance and disrespect. “Mr. Coleman? I think these two deserve to be dealt with accordingly. You know what to do.” Jason said to the Manager who pulled out his phone at once and made a quick call. No one heard what he said because he stepped aside and faced the wall. He returned his phone to his pocket and walked back to his previous position while Jason continued going through the files in the folder. “From the record I have here, over three million dollars have been unaccounted for and these transactions were sanctioned with the help of the Assistant Manager who was part of her cousin’s antics to steal the company’s money.” Jason paused as soon as he heard the sound of footsteps walking into the conference room.He turned slowly toward the direction of the door, and when he saw the five

Meredith took three steps backward in order to get away from the policeman, but he was faster and caught up with her in no time. “No! Please, let me go! I don’t know these people! I didn’t do anything!” She tried to free herself from the grip of the policeman, but before she could know it, her hands had already been cuffed behind her while she grunted with so much tension gripping her. “This way, madam. Please, go.” “Officer, wait. I didn’t do anything! I don’t know these people! Jason?” Meredith forced herself to a stop, and then she turned to look at Jason who stood still with his arms folded. “Please! Let me go! I will give you back your money! I still have some money left in my savings! I will pay the rest when I have it! I beg you, please!”“How, Meredith? How do you intend to pay back? We all know that you don’t have any job, you are only interested in living off a man. I think you deserve whatever is happening to you right now. Don’t worry, they won’t hurt you, but you

Jason got into the car a few seconds before James, and as soon as James was about to turn on the ignition of the car after buckling his seatbelt, Jason received a call that made him take out his phone from his pocket. He looked at the screen of his phone, and the moment he saw that the call was from the same number with a hidden identity, he sighed and lifted his head to look at James who was already staring at him through the rearview mirror. “Hold on, James. I need to take this ball.” James nodded in response, and then he let go of the steering wheel while Jason answered the call at once before placing the phone on his right ear. Jason remained silent while he waited to hear what the caller at the other end was going to say. “Hi, Jason. How are you doing? I hope you haven’t been thinking about the last words I said to you when I called previously.” The familiar distorted voice said to Jason while he chose to remain silent no matter what. “Why are you silent, Jason? A bright smile appeared on his face, and he began to wish that he had a sibling. The other girls who were awake and close to Nadia’s bed continued watching with keen interest, and at that moment, they were more assured that they were in safe hands since Jason had brought Rose to see her sister, and the doubt they had about their safety began to vanish instantly. Rose whispered some words into her sister’s ear, and even without hearing a word of what she was telling her, Jason could tell that they were talking about him, and within a few seconds, Rose stood up and walked up to him. She refused to let go of her smile while she walked slowly until she stopped a few inches away from him. “Thank you so much! We are very grateful!” Rose didn’t give Jason the opportunity to respond, and she embraced him tightly, shutting her eyes while she wrapped her arms around hi

Rose walked out of the mansion a few minutes after she was called by one of the guards at Jason’s instruction. She had a curious expression on her face, and it became a little bit intense the moment she set her eyes on Jason who had a strange smile on his face. “Rose? How are you?” Jason’s face brightened up more the moment he set his eyes on Rose, but she was a little bit confused and ignored his question. “You sent for me.” She said calmly, stopping about three meters in front of Jason who nodded instantly without letting go of his smile. “Oh yes! I have a surprise for you. I am sure you are going to love it. Come on, let’s go!” Jason gestured to Rose to follow him, but she seemed a bit reluctant to even take a step. Jason was forced to turn to look at her when he realized that she hadn't made a move to follow him. “Come on, Rose. This is really important, I am sure you will love it. He had to slow the car down at once to be able to take the fall after seeing who the caller was on the screen of the phone. “Harry?” He said, and then he cleared his throat while listening attentively to hear what the Butler was going to say. “Young Master? We found something, I think you need to see this.” Harry said from the other end of the line, and Jason let go of the steering wheel at once while he held onto the phone with his other hand. “Where are you?”“At the location where the shipments were taken,” Harry responded at once, and Jason nodded slowly before grabbing the gear stick. “I will be right there!” He reversed the car at once and changed direction, heading to the location where Harry called from. The road was busy, causing Jason’s impatience to grow, but he remained calm while looking for the best way to maneuver through some of the cars in front of him. “Out of the way!” He barked at one of the st

Looking at the people kneeling before him one after the other, Jason smirked, and almost immediately, he sniggered at them while he let them deal with the anxiety that cringed them. “You seek mercy?” He asked, and even though none of them could utter a word, the nod from Isabella and her Grandmother was enough to answer his question. The rest were too ashamed to react to his question. “I see…” He scoffed, and after looking around for a few seconds, he returned his gaze to them without letting go of the smirk on his face. “What you should seek is redemption, all of you. From where I am standing, you do not deserve mercy. Maybe when you have tasted the other side of life just like I have, then you will be able to receive redemption. We are done here, I only came to claim what rightfully belongs to me, your words have no effect on me.” Jason turned to look at Ramon who waited to hear what he was going to say, eager to carry out their instruction. “Ramon?”“Yes, Young Master!” Th

The Palmers looked at each other the moment they heard the utterances from Jason, and when they returned their gazes to him, they could see that he wasn’t joking when he said those words, and even afterward. “You… You want us to kneel?”“Why not, Isabella? If you really want to show me how desperate you are to be shown mercy, then getting on your knees shouldn’t be a problem. The ball is in your court.” Jason maintained a smirk on his face, and then he went silent, waiting to see what their reaction was going to be. “You really want us to kneel?” Lady Alice asked with a weak tone, but Jason remained silent while he maintained his smirk. The old lady looked at her family members, and seeing that they were as helpless as she was, she swallowed hard saliva and sighed heavily. “I can't believe I am about to do this.” She grunted, and after giving Jason one long look, she slowly lifted her gown with both hands, and went on her knees, unable to lift her face from the ground. “Thi

The news of the revelation of the identity of the richest and youngest billionaire in the entire country spread like wildfire, and people were cut between trying to know how a nobody suddenly became the heir to the biggest conglomerate in the country, and how he had managed to keep his secret hidden for so long while he carried out all his plans. Evidently, Jason had succeeded in carrying out his plans, or most of them, but there was still more, and there was no way he was going to leave any loose ends. The sun had taken over the moon, shining its rays on the surface of the earth while the cool morning breeze was blowing on the faces of everyone who was out that morning, including those who left their windows open. Standing firm with his evergreen smile intact, Jason kept his eyes on the Palmer mansion for a very long time while the memories of the past experiences he had in that building flashed through his mind. “Who would have thought that this day would come?” He thought t

While the Palmers were still arguing amongst themselves, Jason turned to look at Dalton and his cohorts who were seated at one of the round tables in the hall, staring at him with so many thoughts going through their minds. “To the man who killed my father. Of course, you are not going to be left out of the special packages going around. I have always been longing for this day when I can look you in the eyes, and watch you pay for what you did.” Jason grunted angrily, and then he took in a deep breath which he let out slowly before he continued. “I have your goods locked up somewhere safe, but the authorities have been informed of all your involvement. They should be here any moment from now.” Jason looked at the time on his wristwatch, and then at the entrance of the hall. “Aha! There they are!” He nodded in satisfaction as soon as he saw the ten policemen tripping into the hall with their guns in their hands. The entire hall was thrown into a period of shock. First, it was a long silence, followed by whisperings, and then the recognition by some of those who knew Jason. “Is that?…” Lady Alice Palmer couldn’t finish her words. Seated at one of the long tables in the hall, she turned to look at her son Morgan who was seated beside her, but when he didn’t seem like he was ready to say anything, she turned to look at Isabella who she was certain was going to be able to recognize her ex-husband just in case her eyes were deceiving her. “That’s Jason!” Isabella confirmed before her Grandmother could open her mouth to ask her. “What the hell is he doing here? And why is Philip kneeling before him?” She added, standing up slowly from her seat to have a better look. “Maybe he is one of the guards who are here with Mr. Walker.” Jacob her cousin stated, and Andrew nodded to support him even though he had several doubts running through his mind, especially with the fact that Jason stood out fr

Finally, it was time for the shipments to arrive, and the anticipation in the air was higher than it had ever been both for the two parties. Jason was clad in one of his very expensive black suites, complimented with a classic Tom Ford brown shoe, and a Richer Miller wristwatch. His cologne went before him, and also remained a few minutes even after he was gone. “You look very beautiful in that dress, my baby.” He said with a pleasant smile, looking at Brenda who walked out of the room, dressed in a white gown that that had beautiful pebbles embroidered all around it. A nice diamond necklace was hanging around her neck, and her hills were impeccably dazzling. “Thanks, Jay! I never knew you had such an amazing taste for quality and beautiful things.” Brenda retorted at once, chuckling with a blush. “Ah! You have to get used to it, my darling!
