“Are you okay, Young Master?” Harry asked after a few minutes they started heading to their destination.

Without saying a word, Jason turned to look at Harry, and after a few seconds, he looked away and faced the window of the moving car.

Harry thought he was unusually quiet, and the look he saw on his face confirmed his thought.

Jason was silent for a few seconds, and then he turned to look at Harry who was still staring at him with a little concern.

“Harry?”

“Yes, Young Master.”

“My father. Was he a bad man? Did he get involved in any shady business or deal?”

Harry was silent. At first, he thought the young man was not in his right senses for asking such a question, but the look on his face debunked the idea he had in his mind.

“Harry?” Jason said with a low tone, taking the middle-aged man off his thoughts.

“You haven’t answered my question,” Jason said with the same tone, but Harry pushed for a while before he started to respond to the question.

Seeing the structure of the huge white luxurious Grand villa, Jason could only gasp in shock, it had an ancient look, yet blended into the features of a modern villa. The gardens surrounding it were marvelous, well-groomed with different kinds of flowers in them. He could see a tall statue of a man standing right in the middle of the villa. The statue was made of bronze and stood over twenty feet. The man had a helmet on his head, and a sword drawn from the sheath strapped to his waist, resting comfortably in his right hand. He held onto a large shield and positioned himself like he was about to attack someone with his swords, roaring in valor at the sensation of war. “Who is that?” Jason asked as soon as he had taken a few seconds to glance at the tall statue, not able to withstand the pressure mounted on him by his curiosity. “That is King Edward Walker, the ruler of the ancient Granada Hills, and the first king who passed on the mantle of leadership to his sons until the tw

The nurse was standing beside him, and checking his vitals, while two out of the six bodyguards who had taken him up stood at a corner. “Is he okay?” Jason asked, causing the Doctor to turn at once to see him walking up to her. She removed the stethoscope from her ear, balanced it on her ear, and then took a short look at the old man who was breathing slowly on the bed. “He is fine, but he needs the antidote as soon as possible. His body can no longer handle this.” “But I thought you said he had a few months left.” Brenda sighed heavil

After taking one long look at Jason, Harry sighed again, and then he looked at the old man before he walked slowly out of the room, shutting the door behind him. “You too, you can have your rest. I will be here with him.” Jason said softly to the bodyguards by his right, turning to look at them. They looked at Jason and then turned to look at each other, not sure if they were to abandon their duty or not. “Don’t worry, I will handle things from here. I am sure you must really be tired.” The men looked at him for a while, with countenances that showed that they didn’t want to go, even though he insisted. “Go on! Go!” Jason urged with a loud tone, ca

Hope you slept well.” “Sure. Thank you.” Jason tried to get up, but his body was weak, and some parts around his waist ached due to the posture he was in while he slept. “I have some news about the inquiry you asked me to make.” Hearing those words from the butler, Jason blinked his eyes severally and stretched his hands slowly, as he tried to understand what he was talking about. “What inquiry?” He asked, as he managed to get up from the chair, and turned to look at the butler who was standing behind him. “The car auction.” “Oh, what about it?” Jason asked at once, his entire attention was drawn to the middle-aged man standing in front of him, who

He added some milk from the cup of milk on the table, and stirred severally, while still holding onto the cup, just in case the milk wasn’t enough, When he was sure that he had added enough milk to the coffee, he dropped the cup of milk, brought out the spoon, and hit it gently on the tip of the cup to be sure that no liquid was going to drop on the table, before he balanced it on the saucer. The rest were too ashamed to react to his question. “I see…” He scoffed, and after looking around for a few seconds, he returned his gaze to them without letting go of the smirk on his face. “What you should seek is redemption, all of you. From where I am standing, you do not deserve mercy. Maybe when you have tasted the other side of life just like I have, then you will be able to receive redemption. The ball is in your court.” Jason maintained a smirk on his face, and then he went silent, waiting to see what their reaction was going to be. “You really want us to kneel?” Lady Alice asked with a weak tone, but Jason remained silent while he maintained his smirk. The old lady looked at her family members, and seeing that they were as helpless as she was, she swallowed hard saliva and sighed heavily. “I can't believe I am about to do this.” She grunted, and after giving Jason one long look, she slowly lifted her gown with both hands, and went on her knees, unable to lift her face from the ground. “Thi
