When he was certain that it was the bodyguard, Jason sighed, and then he opened the door to the front door and alighted from the car.

Every other person inside the car also came down, except the driver who turned off the ignition of the car and remained seated.

When the other bodyguards in the black car behind the white car saw that Jason and Harry were out of the car, they alighted immediately and moved toward them, standing at both sides.

Bruce walked up to Harry, while Irene looked at him, as though she was attempting to read his mind. The thought of her son’s safety lingered in her mind, making her restless.

“What’s the update, Bruce?”

“We were able to capture three of the men in the building, but the other tried to escape. We had to shoot him.”

“And the boy?” Jason asked as soon as Bruce responded to Harry’s question. Hearing those words, Irene waited anxiously to hear what response Bruce was going to give, as her heart continued to pound heavily against her ribs.
