“Well, all of that is about to change now,” Jason said in a low tone, causing everyone around him to turn to him, waiting for him to explain what he meant.

“You really think there is anything good that can come out from this poor fellow here?” Rebecca said in a teary voice, pointing at Jerry who was surprised that she still chose to speak to him in that matter, notwithstanding the situation.

“I have been married to him for three years, and he has shown no attempt at being useful.” She continued, sniffling the tiny tears that had started to drop from her eyes.

“He is such a loser, nothing good can come out from him.”

“But you married him, were you blind when you married him?” Jason responded to the lady who was still holding onto her peskiness, not minding the fact that things were not going in favor of her.

She was speechless for a few minutes, trying to look for a means to justify her argument, but she found none.

“All I want is my Child, I will sue him if I have to.”

There was silence in the area, everyone waited for Jason to speak, and when he came up with the best idea, he brightened up, and turned to Kelvin. “I think I’ve got something suitable for you to do, but you will give me your contact, I will call you soon.” “Thank you so much, Sir, I am grateful,” Kelvin said, taking Jason’s phone from his hand, and inputting his digits. “Here Sir, that’s my phone number,” he said, handing over the phone to him. “That’'s okay, I think you can go back to your duty post, it won’t be fair to act on so much misconduct, just because you are about to get a new job.” “Alright, Sir,” Kelvin said, and then he walked away from them, and went back to his position, very close to the main entrance of the Restaurant. “I don’t know what to say, Sir, this is unbelievable, no one has ever shown me such kindness in my life,” Jerry said, almost shedding tears, as he moved close to Jason, with so much gratitude. “That’'s OK, I just hope you give your daughte

The next morning, as early as the first flicker of dawn, Jason got up from the bed, stretched himself, and then walked into the bathroom to freshen up. A few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom and put on his clothes, the thoughts of his desire for the day kept going through his mind, as he inserted the last button of his sleeve into the hole. Adjusting his collar, Jason sighed heavily, and then he walked out of the cabin, slamming the door behind him. He headed straight to the Palmer residence, walking with slow but steady steps. “That reminds me,” he said halfway to the mansion, and then he stopped, pulled out his phone from his pocket, and then dialed Harry’s number. “Hello, Harry,” he said, immediately he heard the man’s voice from the other end of the line. “Good day to you too, Harry. How is the old man?” When he heard the response from Harry, Jason’s smile gradually started to disappear, amidst the worry that crept into his body. “How bad is it?” He asked

Jason couldn’t believe his eyes, he stared at his innocent son for a few seconds, filled with so much pain and disappointment. “You don’t deserve this, I blame myself for this. I should have done something about this.” He thought to himself, but his thoughts were interrupted by the next loud words that Isabella uttered. “Don’t just stand there like a statue, leave!” She said in a hoarse tone, hoping to get back to her ecstatic moment. “Have you no shame? Having sex right next to your son, is this normal?” Jason asked with a weak tone, but Isabella showed no signs of remorse. She rolled her eyes at him and hissed, still holding onto the white Duvet she was covering herself with. “And you too,” Jason said, turning toward Clark who was angry because he cut short his pleasurable exercise. “I always thought you were sensible, but clearly, you lack integrity. No wonder your ex-wife left you for your employee.” “How dare you!” Clark barked and was about to move toward Jason, but

What a pity?” Clark growled at the words that Jason spoke, he held onto all the properties in his hands and stood still wishing he could do something about it, but his hands were occupied. “How didn’t I see this part of you, Clark? I listened to your advice, and I got married to Isabella without even knowing who she was, and two years later, you took her from me. Has this always been your plan all these while?” “Well, maybe if you were rich just like me, your wife wouldn’t have allowed me to screw her, right under your nose.” The words Clark spoke got to Jason, but he chose not to overreact to them, after all, he was no longer married to Isabella, and all he had to deal with was the broken trust. “What? You can’t talk again? Cat got your tongue?” Clark said in a

Jason was surprised it was quite unusual to see a woman riding a taxi, not to talk of a young beautiful woman. He was speechless and stared at her for a while. “Hello, Sir.” The lady called out to him, taking him off his thoughts. “Oh, I am so sorry. I am just not used to…” “Seeing a lady riding a taxi? Yeah, I get that a lot.” Jason sighed, with a little remorse about his demeanor which he felt may have seemed really harsh on the lady. He sighed, again, just before he said the next words in his mind. “I am sorry, I really didn’t mean to be rude.” “That’s okay, as long as you are paying for the ride.” The lady said with a smile on her lips, holding onto the steering wheel with both hands and hopeful that Jason was going to let her take him to his destination. “Right, take me to Number Fifty-one Chariot Street,” Jason said to the lady who thought about the address for a few seconds before she nodded. “Hop in, Sir, that will be 12 dollars.” Jason was surprised at how

The Doctor sighed heavily, and then he turned to look at Jason after a few seconds of staring at the old man. “I can’t really say, Sir. This is a rare kind of situation, it gets really scary and confusing each moment.” Jason looked at the Doctor, he wasn’t sure if she was referring to him or to someone else in the room, but when he turned to his left to look at the two nurses standing by the corner, they seemed to share the same countenance as the Doctor. “What does this even mean? Are you trying to say that he is not gonna be okay?” “No, Sir. That’s not what I meant.” “Then, please explain to me, I am confused.” The Doctor looked at Jason, and she could see was a man who desperately wanted to save his Grandfather, and was willing to do anything just to save him. She took in a deep breath, and then let it out slowly, while Jason waited patiently for her to talk. “Well, Sir. It seems your Grandfather has been poisoned, the symptoms keep on getting deadly by the day. First

The Doctor sighed heavily, getting ready to give a response to the question, while Jason braced himself to hear the response she was going to give. “Four months, Sir. He has only four months.” “What?” Jason said, and his jaw dropped, together with his breath, his eyes widened in disbelief, and his heart tried to escape from his chest. “Yes, Sir. He barely has enough time to live, we really have to find the antidote if we want to keep him alive.” Jason looked at his Grandfather and the tears he had managed to suppress for a long time left his glands and streamed down his face, causing him to sigh heavily, but not in relief. “Everything is going to be okay, Sir. All we need to do is to find out who did this.” The Doctor said to Jason with a soft tone, hoping that she was going to be able to pacify him, but the young man standing before was very heartbroken, there was so much pain written on his face, and his eyes showed intense despair. “Take it easy, Sir. Harry quickly grabbed the doors and opened them for Jason, who walked out immediately, while he followed him behind, shutting the doors after himself. They walked down the staircase and then entered the lobby of the building through the door by the left. The workers were already waiting for them, dressed in their uniforms, with their hands behind them. As soon as they saw Harry with the meager-looking young man, they bowed their heads, but only for Harry, as they weren’t aware who Jason was. “Good day, Boss.” “Good Morning, Boss.” They greeted one after the other, but Harry said nothing in reply, he only continued walking until he got in front of them, and he stopped with Jason right beside him. “You may raise your heads,” Harry said, and at once they lifted their heads, wondering why they had been summoned, they also looked at Jason, wondering who he was. “Allow me to specially introduce you all to someone really important, someone who holds a special balance in this fa

  • Marry me

It had been a month since Julius was brought out of prison, and everything was going as everyone had hoped for. He had been of good conduct, keeping to the conditions that were given to him by Jason. But that didn’t mean that any chances could be taken with him. His reputation as a notorious criminal who had claimed lives made it quite difficult to trust him. The fact that he had been exonerated from the guilt of his actions was too much grade for him, and it would have been foolish of him to let it go to waste. He had spent the entire month begging for Shirley’s forgiveness, but she kept her distance, maintaining a mutual relationship with him which was based on the fact that they had a child together. Xavier on the other hand was old enough to understand that sometimes things don’t always go the way we want them. Even though he wished that his parents could be together someday, he also knew that his mother was only trying to be safe. She didn’t want to have to repeat the sam

Days turned to weeks, and then to a month. Jason fulfilled his promise to Xavier and made sure he went to one of the best schools in the city. He knew that the boy still thought about his father even though he stopped talking about him, probably because his mind was occupied with school assignments, and some of the things Jason got him involved in just to make sure he stayed away from silly acts. Seated with Lord Walker, Jason waited patiently for the old man to speak, aware of what was about to be heard. “Jack?” Lord Walker leaned forward before he continued. “I know that Julius isn’t particularly the best Uncle in the entire world, but he is still family. I know that this is a very difficult decision for you to make. But you have to do this for the sake of the boy…” Lord Walker paused for a few seconds just to be certain that Jason was listening to him. He sighed softly and continued with a more audible tone. “Keeping him there way cause be painful for the boy even thoug

  • Reunion

Standing in front of Jason was Clark, the same best friend who turned out to be one of his enemies. He had lost his charm and confidence and almost looked like a better. He couldn’t even look at Jason for more than a few seconds before he bent his face to the ground in shame. It appeared that his outfit was oversized, but that was only proof that he had lost a lot of weight. “Why are you here, Clark? I am sure you didn’t just come to stare at me.” Jason broke the silence between them, staring at Clark with a smirk on his face. Brenda would have asked a few questions, but as soon as Jason mentioned the name of the man standing in front of them, she remembered some of the stories he told him about how his best friend betrayed him and went after his wife. She was only interested to know why Clark was there. “I am here to ask for your forgiveness, Jason. I also want to appreciate you for getting me out of jail.” Clark managed to say with a shaky tone. He couldn’t even look at Ja

  • I am Pregnant!

It had been three days since Xavier and his mother pleaded that Julius be set free but nothing had been done about it. Jason was taking his time to make a decision about his step-uncle’s fate. It seemed like it was going to take more time before he could be able to come t a conclusion. Lord Walker himself was wondering why Jason had not said anything about it, but he also knew that he was worried about his safety. After seeing and hearing what Julius was capable of, Jason had no other option than to keep the decision pending until he was done with some of the plans he had in mind. First, he enrolled Xavier in high school. He attended one of the best schools in Granada Hills, and the goal was to make sure that the young man didn’t need up on the streets ever again. Shirley on the other hand was going through a rehabilitation process. She was made to speak to someone and undergo struct measures of check which were often conducted to make sure she didn’t go back to her old habi

  • Release Him

The next day, it was finally time to bring back Lord Walker from the hospital after his recovery. Jason went together with the Butler, Brenda, and Xavier who insisted that he was going to go with them. Not only was he eager to see his mother, but he also wanted to see his Grandfather who almost sacrificed himself for his sake. By the time they arrived at the hospital, the old man was already seated on the bed while one of the nurses attending to him handed him over his drugs and a glass of water. “Thank you, my dear.” He said to the nurse as soon as he was done with his medication while he handed over the empty glass to her. He turned to his visitors and the brightness of his face increased at once, causing him to gesture to them at once. “I know what you are about to say, Jack…” He shook his head, but that wasn’t going to stop Jason from expressing himself. “That was really silly, Grandpa! You almost got yourself killed!” Jason walked up to the old man ahead of the other

  • Retribution

Xavier hesitated for a while, but he eventually mustered the guts to move. “Go ahead.” Jason urged him as soon as he took the first steps, and he continued moving, eyes on his father who was shocked to see him. Julius could tell that Xavier was truly his son, he didn’t think he needed any DNA to prove that. The resemblance was alarming, and the fact that the boy reminded him of himself when he was about the same age was enough. But he didn’t seem like he was the proudest father at that moment. He was glad that he had been given the opportunity to see his son, but he was equally ashamed of himself. Unable to get closer to the iron bars, he stood where he was, waiting patiently for Xavier to get closer to him. The boy stood in front of his father, staring at him without knowing what exactly he was supposed to say at that moment. The reunion wasn’t as pleasant as he had expected it to be. Father and son remained for over a minute, but their eyes said a lot to each other while

  • His Father

With their panic rising, Jason and Brenda paced along the hallway, waiting for anyone to come out of the theater. It had gotten so long that Jason had to send for Cara who came along with some guards to take Henry back to the Villa while they continued waiting anxiously. Eventually, the Doctor came out of the theater dripping with sweatballs that ran down his face. “Doctor?! What’s going on?” Jason asked anxiously, but instead of giving him a response, the Doctor moved to Brenda and whispered some words into her ear, making sure that Jason wasn’t going to hear their conversation. Brenda responded with a whisper as well before the Doctor nodded and hurried back to the theater without saying a word to Jason whom he only stared at while he expected him to say something. “Why didn’t he say anything to me?! What did he say, babe? Talk to me!” Jason moved closer to Brenda who looked like she didn’t know how to tell him what the Doctor whispered into her ear. “Brenda?” Jason call

Brenda was silent for a while, but Jason was patient enough to wait for a response to his question. Firstly, she grabbed Henry from Jason and made sure he was sitting comfortably on her legs. She took in a deep breath which she let out slowly before she turned to look at Jason. “I am listening, Brenda. What were you guys discussing back there?”“Nothing really. Just girls’ talk.” “Okay?” Jason featured with both hands, indicating that he wanted to hear more details about their discussion. “I thought you said you were not so much interested in her, Jay. Why bothering to ask what we were discussing?”“Me? When did I say that?”“Well, you implied it.” Brenda shrugged, looking at Jason with a smirk on her face. “Just tell me what you guys were talking about back there, Brenda. She could have said something that needs to be verified by me. No other person knows her like I do.” Jason insisted. “Okay, fine.” Brenda sighed. “I was just worried about the way she looked, that’s

  • Motherhood

The sight of his ex-wife made Jason sigh, his previous countenance gave way for a frown that appeared as he stared at Isabella who managed to push the two guards aside because they let her do so. But they went after her and grabbed her at once, restraining her efforts to get close to Jason or her son. “Jason! Tell them to let me go! Let me go! Let me go!” Isabella continued to struggle with the guards, but she eventually got tired, panting in exhaustion while Jason and Brenda watched her with a little surprised written all over their faces. Henry recognized his biological mother, but it didn’t look like he was really concerned or excited to see her. He just stared at her as though he was trying to recall where he met her. “Tell them to let me go, Jason! Please.” Isabella pleaded, but Jason wasn’t really interested in the words that she uttered. What made him curious was the fact that she looked very unkempt and malnourished. It had been a few weeks since he last saw her, and h
