Chapter 6 That creepy monster...

Amber pov.....

I have no other option but to die, I can't believe my blood, my brother is making me marry a monster,

That Jameson and his brothers are beasts in the cover of humans, they kill people for no particular reason, I heard in their kingdom, there are no girls whom they didn't touch, just the thought of being touched by those creepy monsters gives me goosebumps, let alone getting married to one of them,

I remember when I first met them, at a cousin's ceremony two years back, I was just sixteen and they tried to touch me,

It was her ceremony and that bastard Jameson asked my hand in marriage, it was horrible, he has more than four wives at his palace and he wants me as his wife,

Thankfully, Dad didn't accept the proposal,

but the reason he gave, caused the death of all his wives,

" I wish my daughter to be the only wife, but I think you already have four wives, Jameson"

back then, Dad was just trying to deny his proposal, but that beast killed his wives brutally and sent their heads to Dad, telling him that he is single now...

how drastic he was? when dad rejected his proposal again, he sent his brothers to propose marriage to me, he tried to abduct me, assault me, poisoned dad,

And now they are here again to marry me forcing Charles of his tricks, never...

I would finish this mere life of mine than getting married to that beast,

Early in the morning, everyone drinks their coffee or tea, but I am here with my first and last glass of wine, I am eighteen today, so it can be called my celebration.

I added a few drops of poison to my drink and was about to take a sip, but stopped when I heard a knock on my door, I hid that glass of wine under the table and went to open the door,

"Charles...!!" he reeks of alcohol,

"were you that happy about my destruction that you drank alcohol in celebration" I taunted him,

"What were you doing?" he implored, and barged in, I hid the glass but forget to hide the poison bottle, it was on the table, he rushed to it and looked straight at me,

" Is this the solution you got for your problems?"

" so what do you want me to do? should I just hang myself or do you want me to marry that creepy bastard?" I was disgusted,

he heaved a sigh,

" Do you trust me?"

" I used to, but now that you agreed to the proposal, no, I don't"

I reasoned in dismay.

he took out a pill and handed it over to me, so he was also here to give me an easy solution, I took it without any hesitation before his eyes, anyway I was about to drink that bitter wine, it is much easier,

" thank you your highness" I mocked him for the last time, he chuckled at me,

"don't you want to know what that pill was?"

I was confused,

" what else? poison"

I concluded,

he hit my head smirking,

" you will vomit or may faint, but don't panic, it's just to create a scene at the ceremony"

I was puzzled,

"what...!! why..??" I exclaimed in confusion,

" Though he is a bastard, I am sure he won't want a pregnant girl as his wife" I didn't understand a word, he chuckled at me turning me to him,

"I want you to play an act before them"

"an act....!!pregnant....!! but how?" I inquired confusingly,

" That pill will give you an effect of pregnancy for a while, just to deceive them, once they are gone, we will tell our family that it was fake"

he looked very confident, but will this work, and is it that easy to deceive that monster, he had been haunting me for years, will he believe,

" but what if they don't believe? you know he has his spies all around us, I don't know about others but that monster Jameson will never believe us, and what if he asks who is the father of this kid?"

I reasoned as that doubt was reckoning my brain,

"Nothing will go wrong, even if they ask, you can tell anyone's name, just tell them that it was Luis, he is the only one I trust"

"What...!! Are you mad? seriously Luis, that slave, I can't imagine" I felt something creeping on my body as I thought that I would use a slave's name as my boyfriend, it's disgusting.

" Ok, Do you have anyone else? if you have anyone ask him to come before the ceremony starts"

" I will call Anna's brother for help, I am sure he'll help"

"Whatever, make it fast and don't you dare to do anything stupid, Amber you are the only one I have as a close relative, please don't do anything stupid" I nodded my head, and he left the room,

I know he is a good brother, he loves me since childhood, I have been bullied by my stupid brothers and sisters, but Charles is my only brother who in the same blood as mine, it's right that blood is thicker than water, Dad said that before he died, now I understand why.

Anna is the only friend I can trust, I walked out on my balcony scrolling through the phone's contacts, to call Anna,

" Hello Anna, may I ask a favor from you"

I explained everything to her, and she instantly asked her brother and said yes, that was a relief, I called Charles to say everything was ready, and he sent his car to pick them up,

When I was on the balcony, I saw that rude slave Luis, how could Charles trust him that much, I can't even stand his presence around me, that tree branch was my favorite spot and I stopped going there because he touched it, he was sleeping on that branch,

How arrogant, how could a slave have such an attitude, did he feels that he is a prince, my foot?

The ceremony was started and everyone was there, including that monster with his family, as if he is getting married, there were many princes' names on the list but I didn't find any of the bachelor princes or good looking here at the ceremony,

I was called down, but my eyes were stuck on my phone screen, waiting for Anna's call, I was standing before the main hall door, when the phone rang, I excitedly received the call

"Anna are you guys here?"

"aahh... " I heard a painful scream, I was shocked,

"Anna...!!what happened?"

"aahh... we had an accident, Amber, my brother... my brother he fell off the cliff.... hnnn "

tears of fear rolled down my eyes,

she disconnected and that creepy bastard held my hand to bring me inside,

I was terrified by his look,

"Come on my Princess, let's go in, I have been waiting for this day for a long time "

I don't know whether it was because of that pill or because of my nervousness, but I felt numbness covering my body slowly, and in just seconds I fainted,

when I opened my eyes, I was laying on a bench in the middle of the hall and a doctor was checking my pulse,

"your highness, she is pregnant," confirmed the doctor, and a roar of squeaks left the hall,

the music that was playing stopped and I saw someone concerned about what the doctor said,

"What...? do you have a death wish doctor? have you confirmed? is she someone, you can bluff around anything you want about her?"

he grabbed the shirt of the Doctor and started hitting him,

It was my turn to fight against him,

"Stop it...!!"

I shouted with all my strength, but it didn't show any impact on them,
