"He's dead," Dylan repeated.

Dwayne stood frozen on his feet, his eyes bulging out of their sockets. He couldn't wrap his head around what Dylan said so he asked, "What did you say again? How - how do you know that?"

Dylan shrugged like it didn't matter to him. "The man did a wonderful job for me but it was sad that he was among those who killed my parents in cold blood. I'm sure you don't need me to complete the math for you."

Dwayne shook his head, refusing to believe any word of it. "No. No, you're bluffing! You - there's nothing you can do! You are just a boy! You're nothing compared to Jackson. Everything you just said now is bullsh*t! It makes no f*king sense!!"

Dylan stared at him for a while, his mouth curved in a small smirk. Then he became serious, his face hardened before saying, "But I'm not just a boy anymore. I'm not that boy you could easily throw out – out of his own home!!"
