Dylan’s expression darkened as his hand slightly gave way, avoiding the store owner’s snatch. “What the hell are you talking about? I've already paid you the money – Sir. How can you say that you can't sell it to me now? Are you toying with me?”

All eyes shifted to the shop owner, each person feeling that he had overstepped his bounds. He had already completed the sale of the item, only to now express regret over selling it too cheaply and demand its return. It seemed utterly unreasonable!

Yet, deep down, they could empathize with the store owner's frustration. After all, Professor Raymond had immediately offered a hundred thousand dollars after it was sold for a mere two thousand dollars. If they were in the store owner's shoes, they too would likely feel exasperated.
