Dylan got into his car and settled Maya in, ensuring her seatbelt was properly fastened. He gave her a smile before placing his hands on the steering wheel.

Suddenly, anger at how he had been treated inside the house sparked a thought in his mind. He blinked and reached for his phone, dialing Lord Owens' number.

"Lord Owens, could you help me investigate Gerald Griffin?" he asked.

"Gerald Griffin? From Signature Woodworks Co.?" Lord Owens clarified.

Dylan nodded. "Yes, the furniture company. Both him and his son pretended to know you and used it to deceive Allison, my girlfriend. I need you to give them a warning."

"Consider it done, Master Dylan," Lord Owens assured.

Dylan nodded again and ended the call.

Although he hadn't exposed Mason right then and there, it didn't mean he would forget about the issue. He couldn't ignore the fact that Mason had lied to Allison, and he knew he had to intervene.

He started the car engine and drove out of the premises.
