478. Reunion

As the birds chirped out loud in the morning and the dew of the heavy downpour from last night glittered, two figures could be seen walking side by side, treading the path in the middle of the grassland. Awkward silence permeating around them while they're focused their gaze on the road. At times, they would spot wooden carriages bringing vegetables and goods, as they were pulled by either donkeys or old horses. 

With a single glance, the drivers of those carriages dressed like a simple farmer or some people living on the outskirts of the area. A few of them offered a ride to both of the figures. Yet, they refused the kind offers decisively and kept walking by themselves to the point they could see the tall city walls in their sight.
