The couple's moment lasted for over a minute before Miranda pulled out. She was so emotional and indeed happy that her husband was safe.

“Tell me what happened? Who are those people that kidnapped you and how did you escape them?" Miranda was asking many questions at the same time and Liam had to hush her.

“It's ok, I'm fine now. Let's just go inside the house and I'll tell you everything.”

Without another word, Miranda nodded her head and led the way. They got into the apartment and found her parents engrossed in watching TV. They both acted like nobody entered the house when they heard Liam's voice.

“Mom, Dad, Liam is back. Won't you even ask what happened to him and how he was able to escape the place."

Patricia let out a dry chuckle and turned to face the couple. “What did I tell you earlier? I don't care if he was even dead. All I care about is that he divorces you and lets you be with Tyler."
