Chapter 32

“Really, Mom?" Miranda retorted but Patricia raised a finger before her, silencing her.

“I'm not finished yet."

Letting out a deep sigh, Patricia raised her hands in despair. She glanced around the sitting room and her eyes finally settled on the table before her. There was a glass of fresh orange juice she had earlier poured for herself.

Taking the glass up, she took a few sips of the drink to calm herself down. Her younger daughter had refused to listen. And her excessive worrying was giving her sleepless nights.

“You left him standing like a fool and went ahead to board a cab. What is your problem, Miranda?"

“I didn't want Liam to be angry if he saw me coming down from his rival's car. Remember, I'm married to Liam and getting into Tyler's car is a disrespect to my husband."

Patricia could not believe her ears. Miranda was still getting worried about Liam when she should be ditching him.
