Liam believed that it was just the beginning of Kimberly's misfortune in her husband's house.

Bernard had lost a few deals and took it out on Kimberly. He was frustrated and Kimberly got in his way so he beat her up.

Kimberly had known that her husband had a beasty part but she chose to stick by him because of his wealth.

“I'll be right back." Miranda swiftly stood up from her seat and made her way out of the diner. She was hoping to meet her sister outside.

Surprisingly, she was still in her car.

Kimberly had rushed outside when she saw Liam walking into the restaurant. However, she decided to stay a little longer in her car.

Moreover, she had no idea where else to go.

Who would she moan her grievance to?

Miranda rushed to her car and opened the door of the passengers' seat. She got in and got Kimberly giving her a confused look.

“What are you doing here?" Kimberly asked her. “Shouldn't you be with your doting husband? Perhaps, you can watch him while he enjoys his lunch."
