This wouldn’t be the first time Angelo took beatings because of his marriage to Trisha, but it was his first time taking beatings from Dirty Dog such as this. The doctor and nurses at the ICU tried their very best to keep him stabilized and alive.
Beside him was his baby sister, Annabel, who is the only family he has; she is 19, and ever since the loss of their parents he had taken up responsibility for her. Also, his beloved wife, Trisha, was there with him as well as his only friend, Cortez.
“Do you think he will be okay?” Annabel asked in tears as she watched her brother lying on the hospital bed almost lifeless.
“Am sure he will, Annabel. Don’t worry, everything will be fine.” Trisha held her, trying to console her but they both burst into tears.

“Clear this place now!” A voice commanded at the entrance hall of Saint Salvadore Hospital.
“You heard the man. Everyone out this minute.” Another voice shouted.
The Rodriguezs had just arrived at the hospital where Angelo was and with their heavily armed men, everyone in the hospital began running out fearing for their lives.
“What’s going on out there?” Trisha asked Cortez hearing the noise of people shouting and running.
“I’ll check it out quickly.” Cortez set out to check what was going on but was stopped by the visitors before he could get to the door.
“No, you will do no such thing.” Juan, Trisha's second brother, opened the door and kicked Cortez down to the floor.
“Mom. Dad. And you three, what are you all doing here.” Trisha shouted in shock and anger as her parents and brothers entered the room.
She knew that whatever reason brought them there was not going to end well for Angelo.
“Shut up, you spoilt ungrateful brat.” Her mother fired back at her with fierceness in her face.
“Well, well, well. Look who’s still breathing.” Jack, Trisha’s eldest brother, drew close to Angelo’s almost lifeless body on the bed looking at him with no ounce of pity in his eyes.
“What do you want.” Trisha quickly stepped in between her brother and her hospitalized husband.
“Come on now, baby sis. We’ve warned you several times about being with this idiot but you wouldn’t listen, would you? Now, we have come to help you out.”
“I don’t need your help with anything, and for the last time, nothing you or anyone can do to make me leave him.”
“Don’t be so sure about that honey, there’s plenty of things we can do you know. Maybe we show you some, starting with this right here.” Her mother brought out an envelope from her bag and handed it over to Trisha.
Trisha opened the envelope and brought out the papers in it. She was shocked by the heading that welcomed her eyes and the content of the documents.
DIVORCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN TRISHA RODRIGUEZ AND ANGELO BRUNO.
“I didn’t ask for this and neither am I signing it.” She threw the documents back to her mother insisting she wasn’t going to divorce her husband.
Her parents knew how stubborn she could be, it runs in the family. But they came prepared to break her.
“You see, honeybee. We are not asking. You will sign those papers and when this pathetic piece of shit you call a husband wakes up, he will sign his too.” Her father had just given her something to worry about, knowing he never made empty threats nor did he bluff in matters such as this.
But she was going to stand her ground anyway. She loved Angelo too much to let him go because of some family threat,
“No. I’ll do no such thing, not now not e—” The sudden sound that engulfed the room not only silenced her but made her and Annabel scream in fear and terror.
Jack had just pulled the trigger on Cortez, shooting him twice in the chest. As Cortez’s body hit the floor beside Annabel, the two girls screamed out loud as they rushed to grab him on the floor but the bullets were precise and had killed him instantly.
Trisha rushed at her brother hitting him in the chest,
“Why?! Why you bastard?”
“We told you, honey, we were not asking. Now, you can either sign these papers now or two more bullets will fly from your brother’s gun to that pretty face next to you.” Her mother had just threatened to kill Annabel if she didn’t sign the divorce papers.
At this point, Trisha couldn’t resist anymore. If her family just killed Cortez and considered it a warning shot, they would most definitely kill Annabel also and she couldn’t let that happen.
“Okay. Okay, you maniac. I’ll sign the papers but please leave her alone. Do not hurt her.” She cried to them, consenting to sign the papers in hopes that they would spare Annabel.
“Call us what you want, we love you and we are doing what’s best for you and this family.” Her mother answered her, “And of course, the pretty doll can stay pretty on. All you need to do is put your signatures on the papers.” Her mother again handed her the documents and with a pen this time.
Trisha took the papers and signed the necessary places consenting to divorce Angelo. She had never thought a day like this would ever come when she would agree to divorce her beloved husband but her family was good in the game and they sure knew how to get what they wanted.
“There you have it, now leave us alone.” She cried as she threw the papers back to her mother.
“That wasn’t difficult now, was it? And no girl, there is no ‘us’ anymore, you’ve signed to divorce him already. So, you are coming with us.” Her mother signed her brothers to take her. Johnnie and Juan grabbed her and took her out of the room despite her screams to let her be so she could tend to Angelo.
Her parents stayed behind however to have a final word with Annabel who was still shivering and crying from the whole scene she just watched with the killing of Cortez.
“Listen to me you miserable bitch. When your piece of shit of a brother wakes up, tell him we expect him at our residence immediately, and he better come with a pen. Make sure to fill him in on all he missed while he was dining with the devil.”
Angelo slowly regained consciousness, finding his baby sister beside him, tears streaming down her face. He held her hand, thinking her distress was about him."Stop now, Annabel. Am alive, not dead. Or at least not yet."Annabel, attempting to mask her unease, was relieved to see her brother awake,"Angelo! Thank God. I didn't know what to think but I've been praying." She hugged her brother in her excitement not minding the pain it caused."Okay. Okay. Easy girl. You don't want to send me back to a coma now, do you?" Angelo's groans in pain jumped her attention back to his condition and she immediately pulled back from him, still feeling excited to see him awake.Angelo had been in a coma for 48 hours with the doctors and nurses doing all they could to make sure he survived. Their efforts did pay off. His waking up was not without questions in his mind, although Dirty Dog had destabilized his system, his memory was still alive to figure out things."Where is Cortez? He brought me he
Angelo's heart shattered at the echoes of the proposed marriage between his wife and Don Romero. His not fully recovered body ached with the pains all rushing back at him. Stunned, he found himself incapable of comprehending the magnitude of the information he just received and although he wished he could do something about it, he just couldn't because he was a nobody and Don Romero wasn't a class to mess with.Don Romero runs the biggest mafia organization in all of Sicily, he is the dreadiest and most powerful mafia boss in Sicily. Everyone knew his name and feared for who he was. Trisha's three brothers worked for him with Jack and Juan working closely with him at his headquarters, and Johnnie ran the Castellazo carter on his behalf in Avalon.Even the governor and mayor of Sicily couldn't challenge Don Romero, it was rumored that he assassinated the last governor, kidnapped his deputy, and forced the city to run another election which he seized to put his man in power as the new g
"No. Annabel!!!" Angelo shouted in shock, "Please, don't hurt her, just let her go. I beg of you." His pleading fell on deaf ears.Angelo's heart pounded as he rushed toward his sister. Confusion etched his face as he approached her, intent on shielding her from them. Before he could move any further or utter another word, Dirty Dog's fist struck with lightning speed, sending Angelo sprawling to the ground, his body wracked with pain.Don Romero, his interest piqued by the sight of Angelo's sister, issued a chilling order. "Bring her along. We'll auction her to my rich friends."Angelo, grappling with the agony from the beating, attempted to rise and voice his protest. Yet, Dirty Dog relentlessly enforced his menacing reputation, delivering blows that left Angelo gasping for breath.Helpless and battered, Angelo lay there as Don Romero seized both his sister and his wife on the same day. It was a brutal display of power, a stark reminder of his powerlessness against the ruthless Mafi
The event that just unfolded left the Rodriguezs in a surreal state of disbelief as if trapped in a dream or a whimsical journey to an imaginary realm. Enveloped in confusion, their minds drifted into an emptiness of thoughts. The sounds of gunshots in the air shattered the illusion, forcing them to the harsh reality as they instinctively dropped to the ground, shivering. The powerful man, who had just referred to Angelo as "MASTER" brought out a device resembling a pen from his suit pocket. With swift precision, he pressed it against Angelo's arm, administering a shot that worked like a magical elixir, instantly filling him with strength. Angelo, who moments ago had been left incapacitated, now stood on his own two feet, restored to full strength as if untouched by the recent turmoil.A security detail, bearing a majestic white coat adorned with 24-carat diamonds, approached with regal grace. The glittering coat, a symbol of power and authority, was brought before Angelo. The powerfu
As Angelo and Brandon soared through the skies in the helicopters, the wind whipping around them, Angelo's instructions echoed in the air. "Seize the Rodriguez estate, bring them all, including Dirty Dog and his men. Lock them in the Angels’ Bunker, 50 feet beneath 'THE HOUSE OF ANGELS.'" The urgency in his voice conveyed the gravity of the situation."Yes sir!" Brandon responded. "I want 20 men and three armored vehicles stationed at the estate. No one goes in unless on my command. And bring all the prisoners." Brandon quickly passed Angelo's instructions to the captain of their forces.Amid their flight, Angelo and Brandon discussed their next move. The armored vehicles, a formidable procession, trailed behind, carrying the prisoners from the Rodriguez estate. Angelo's plan unfolded, the first strike aimed at punishing the Rodriguezs and their agents. The helicopters touched down at the Angels’ residence, a place known as the epicenter of power for the Angels. For 20 years now, it
Don Romero being the biggest Mafia boss in all of Sicily wouldn't have a mere wedding particularly as he intends to demonstrate his powers over the powerless. The wedding was held on his private island in Sicily with an invitation to the biggest names in the country including the President of Italy, Carlos Navarro. Sicily was bustling with the movement of people to various locations where they were forced by the Don's local gangsters to watch the wedding on screens. A subtle reminder that they were poor and powerless and Don Romero owned Sicily and everyone in it."Today ought to be a great day for us but now it's a day of terror and humiliation," Baron cried to his wife, Stella, as they got ready for the event that morning.Stella took a deep breath as she helped her husband with his tie, and she responded to him,"We are lucky to still be alive right now. For everything we did to Angelo, he should have our heads by now.""But that's the problem, we don't know what he is planning for
Angelo sat among the crowd in pain as he watched the Priest proceed with the marriage ceremony, there was not so much he could do as Don Romero’s men sat with him to keep him from making any move.“Will you, Don Romero Gustavo, take her, Trisha Rodriguez as your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to cherish, in sickness and in health till death do you part?” The Priest dressed in his priestly apparel presented the long-awaited question to the Don.Don Romero looked at the Priest as he made his statement, and then turned to look at Angelo where he sat on the front row with an evil smirk which only showed how powerful he was over Angelo, he replied,“Yes, I do.” He returned his gaze to Trisha looking at her lustfully from her boobs to her thighs and all, smacking his lips.Trisha had strictly been warned not to drop a tear at the wedding to cause embarrassment for the Don or her parents otherwise they would make Annabel suffer for it. But seeing Angelo forced to sit at the front row witn
Amidst the embrace and joyous reunion between Angelo and Trisha, still catching their breath and enjoying the warmth of each other's arms once again, Trisha's mind juggled to something shocking. She pulled away a bit from Angelo and questioned the peculiar address the man who posed as a Priest had used."Wait. Master? Why is he calling you master?" She asked curiously.Angelo knew this moment was going to come when both his wife and his sister would ask about all of this new status but the time wasn't as perfect as he planned it in his mind to reveal the details of everything to her.Trying to ease her confusion, Angelo responded with a reassuring tone,"I'll explain everything later. Let's focus on the moment for now."The bizarre scene continued as the invading army who had just disrupted her wedding with Don Romero, now bowed before Angelo. Trisha couldn't understand what was happening and she sought further for answers."Why are they bowing to you like a king? What's going on, Ang
