Greg's eyes narrowed as he recognized the lone figure sitting on the asphalt across the street. It was the same elderly man who had clashed with the young executive earlier!

"What's he doing sitting alone on the asphalt? Shouldn't he have gone home by now?" Greg thought as he looked at his phone which showed 5 p.m., which meant the old man might have already been sitting there for hours!

As Greg continued to watch, the old man suddenly turned his head in his direction, locking eyes with Greg. A scowl creased the old man's weathered face, as he pointed his trembling finger toward Greg's direction.

"Hey, you! Why are you staring at me?!" the old man barked, his voice carrying across the street.

Taken aback, Greg quickly averted his gaze, pretending to examine something else across the street. He didn't want to escalate the situation or draw more attention to himself. But the old man's irritation persisted and he called Greg louder.
