Who is this kid?

Dug... Dug... Dug...

The loud stomping of the horse's hooves was clearly audible. It seems, the residents of a village are now gathering because they go about their daily routine by doing physical exercise.

"Did you hear the hoofs?" asked one of the villagers to the companion beside him.

"Yes I heard it. Is that your highness?" he asked back which made the villagers put on a flat face.

"Hey, are you stupid? Your noble lord has just returned to his palace a few hours ago. I'm afraid that the wolf ghost is coming," replied the villager which made his companions speechless.

Just finished speaking, suddenly a horse hit several villagers which made the other villagers shocked. Not long after, several other cavalry came and killed all the gathered villagers. Bloodshed continued, the remaining villagers tried to escape.

But unfortunately, what they did was in vain. They were successfully chased and killed with a very sadistic until leaving the village head. One of the masked men approached the village head on his horse.

got off the horse and approached the village head who now could do nothing more.

"How? are you satisfied now?" said the man who then took off his mask. The village head was surprised to see the figure that was now right in front of him.

"Wolf ghost?! Prince Damian! Please forgive me. I will do whatever you want! Please don't kill me," the village head prostrated, begging for mercy. But what he did was in vain, now what is in front of him is the cruelest prince across the country. Until whenever he will never give forgiveness to his target.

"Hmm you apologize to me? Have you forgotten who I am?" Damian asked with a cold, even face. After that, Damian slashed the village chief's neck and left without the slightest sense of guilt.

A few minutes later....

Damian and his five mainstay troops now decided to take a short break in a former agricultural area. Because it was a war that destroyed the vast and beautiful farmland and no one else wanted to take care of it.

"Hmm, today isn't fun, is it? None of them are against us," said one of the troops, Jacob.

"Yes, you're right. I feel dissatisfied with massacring the villagers earlier! Even though from the crimes they committed a few days ago, it should have been able to overcome us even if it didn't last long," said Jake.

"I think I saw Prince Damian enter the cave there!" Nick pointed at a cave nearby which made Cadwagn rush to the cave.

While on the other hand...

Damian was seen walking through a cave that was so dark but filled with many sparkling and colorful crystals.

"Hmm it turns out that in this area there is a place like this huh? I will distribute these crystals to the people who are difficult rather than storing in the palace. There are already piles of crystals in the palace and even fill many spacious rooms," Damian muttered.

Just as he finished muttering, he heard the sound of a child crying which made Damian pause for a moment. After that, Damian rushed into the cave to find the source of the sound. And not long ago....

Damian found a boy who was now crying near a pile of crystals. He was alone there, no one to accompany him. Even so, Damian moved cautiously and looked around him. Maybe this is just a trap.

"Stop crying," Damian said as he approached the child. Simultaneously with Cadwagn's arrival, he immediately rushed over to Damian who was now with a small child.

"Prince Damian, what are you doing? who is this child?" said Cadwagn who was immediately looked at by Damian because he thought it was too noisy.

"Don't be so loud. I found this kid here, I don't know where he came from," Damian said quietly which made Cadwagn turn his head back to the little boy.

"Hey who are you? where are your parents?" asked Cadwagn softly. The boy looked at him for a moment but after that he looked away and hugged Damian's body which made Damian froze as well as Cadwagn.

"Looks like this kid thinks of you as his father," replied Cadwagn which made Damian glance at the boy sarcastically. Seeing Damian glancing at the boy scornfully made Cadwagn act.

"If you don't like it, let me get rid of this child," Cadwagn pulled the child but unexpectedly, Damian pushed his hand away which of course made him speechless.

"Don't be rude to him. He lost his parents and I will take care of him for a while," Damian said which made Cadwagn dumbfounded.

"I heard right? You want to take care of this child?" asked Cadwagn.

"Just for a while until we find the parents," Damian said briefly who then carried the child and walked away from there.

Cadwagn, who was initially speechless, followed Damian who had walked away first.

A few months later...

Damian was seen relaxing in his lounge, drinking a glass of tea and reading a book. Shortly after, Nick and Jacob came with a small child that Damian found a few months ago. They had just returned from the playground near the palace.

"Ah hahahaha so much fun!" said Nick while holding the child. For a moment, Damian turned his head towards the three of them and then turned his attention back to the book he was reading.

At that time, Cadwagn also came carrying some documents and then gave them to Damian who was relaxing.

Damian received the files and read them one by one while Cadwagn sat beside Nick, Jacob and the little boy.

"How, what are these two brothers doing on the playground?" Cadwagn asked softly which made Nick and Jacob a little disgusted to see him.

"You look like a gay boy you know," Jacob said which made Cadwagn look at him scornfully.

"I'm talking to a child, not as a bastard like you," Cadwagn snapped which made Jacob silent. Cadwagn again focused on the little boy who was now finishing the ice cream in his hands.

"So, what are you doing with these two brothers, little brother?" asked Cadwagn. The boy looked at Cadwagn then handed him a lollipop which made Cadwagn pause.

"For brother," the boy said innocently which made Cadwagn laugh and accept it.

"Ah well, thank you. Tomorrow I'll buy ice cream," replied Cadwagn.

"No need, Bro! So far, you have always bought me ice cream and others. Meanwhile, this is the first time I have given you a lollipop," said the child, which made everyone silent. Damian who was originally serious about reading the file immediately turned his head when he heard him words.

"Huh what?" said Damian with a straight face. When Damian answered, the little boy who was originally chatting with Cadwagn, rushed over to Damian and handed him a rare jade necklace which took them by surprise.

"This is for brother as a token of my gratitude," the little boy said which made Damian petrified.

"Where did he get that jade from?" Jacob said innocently. Damian who was initially petrified then stood up and refused.

"Sorry I'm not interested in your gift. After all, I only allowed you to stay here for a while," Damian snapped after he left. The little boy lowered his head when he saw Damian who refused him gift and walked away.

Cadwagn did not remain silent. He approached the little boy and took the jade necklace in his hand.

"Hmm, you wait a minute here, let me give this to him. He really likes to be shy about accepting gifts from other people," replied Cadwagn. The little boy nodded him head and after that went to see Damian.

Now left Nick and Jacob there. They both approached the little boy and decided to take him to the kitchen.

After a few minutes...

"Damian, why are you acting like that to him?" Cadwagn entered Damian's room which made Damian turn his head towards him.

"I want to stay away from him, especially with my current status. Even so, I will continue to take care of him until he grows up! Until he really decides to live independently and doesn't need my help anymore," Damian said, surprising Cadwagn.

"Why? You said you only wanted to take care of the child temporarily?" asked Cadwagn.

"It was like that at first, but after seeing the description of this file and seeing her current attitude…..I decided to take care of her. He will be staying in another palace, don't tell anyone of her whereabouts! Don't let her out without you or with others. Later in the afternoon, I will take care of the files," Damian explained.

"Then after?" asked Cadwagn innocently.

"Yes he will become a member of the family in this palace. Don't tell anyone about him and don't tell that I took care of him since childhood. Just poison his mind that I am a bad person! His life is in danger," Damian explained. Cadwagn couldn't say anything after hearing Damian's statement directly.

"Hmm okay then. Take this! By the way, what do you want to name him?" asked Cadwagn as he handed Damian the jade necklace a child had given him. Damian accepted it and answered it curtly.

"Ethan, his name is Ethan! Take good care of him, don't let him get hurt. Train him to be the strongest," Damian replied, Cadwagn nodded his head with a faint smile.

And since then, the little boy that Damian found in the cave aka Ethan, officially became a member of his family and lived in the palace. Even so he was not in the main palace but in another hidden palace. Ethan was strictly educated by Cadwagn and the others according to Damian's orders.

Every now and then Damian would check on him and secretly disguise himself as Cadwagn to meet Ethan and take good care of him.

Until it feels like fifteen years have passed...

There was a knock on the door. Ethan who was originally reading a book immediately rushed to open his bedroom door and the one who knocked was Cadwagn.

"Good morning, Ethan," Cadwagn said with a smile.

"Ah bro Cadwagn! You're finally back after a busy year on duty," replied Ethan who was so happy. Cadwagn smiled faintly then after that Ethan pulled Cadwagn into his room.

"Brother rest, I will make a drink for you," said Ethan, who made tea. Incidentally in him room there are several cooking utensils and a refrigerator so that it makes it easier for him to make food or drinks.

"Ah, you've grown up, haven't you," said Cadwagn which made Ethan smile then not long after, Ethan served him homemade tea and sat right in front of Cadwagn.

"Drink Bro, the tea," said Ethan in a friendly manner. Cadwagn nodded him head and took a sip of Ethan's delicious tea.

"Hmm how are you doing here? are you okay?" asked Cadwagn calmly.

"Yeah I'm fine, Bro. How about you?" asked Ethan.

"Brother is also good. Oh yeah, how's your training progress? Brother heard you're growing fast huh?" said Cadwagn, Ethan nodded him head.

"Yes sis, I train hard and grow rapidly! I can even beat Nick and Jake with just one hit," replied Ethan which made Cadwagn choke.

"Uhuk...Uhuk...what? You managed to beat Nick and Jake?" asked Cadwagn, Ethan nodded him head.

"Yes, Bro, therefore a few days ago I found a file. The file contains a list of the famous and strongest sects in this world! and I have chosen one of the sects! namely the ghost wolf sect," explained Ethan who made Cadwagn is shocked to hear that.

"You want to join the ghost wolf sect?" asked Cadwagn, Ethan nodded his head.

"Yes, Bro. What's wrong? I want to train myself to be even stronger, so I decided to join a sect! I happened to hear that this sect is the strongest and most terrible sect in the entire country," explained Ethan.
