Lilly gulped down some saliva and cracked her throat before she finally spoke in a frightened state.

“ I am sorry, what did you just say to me? ”.

“ You are six weeks pregnant Ms. Roderick and your baby doesn't look too healthy, I suppose that is because you were on a diet”.

“ Nurse! Is this true! Am I pregnant? ”.

“ Yes ma and we have informed your husband, he should be here any minute”.

“ What!! You did what? ”.

“ Is there a problem Ms. Roderick? ”.

“ No, not at all” she replied trying to hold back the tears, and just then the door swung open with Charles stepping in.

His eyes were dark red, his gaze deep and he glared at her like he was going to devour her.

“ Oh! Speaking of, Mr. Roderick, welcome Sir! ”.

“ Thank you, Nurse, what was that you were saying on the phone? ”.

“ Your wife here is six weeks pregnant and is malnourished, I mean I get that she is a model and needs to look fit and slender at all times, but now there is a baby involved, she will need to eat a lot more, she
