CHAPTER 39
The two of them stayed in the hospital room for a while before heading back. In the garage, Sophia stopped and looked at Daniel with a somewhat dependent expression.

"Sophia, I'm just your bodyguard and you're asking me to drive for you," Daniel joked.

"You're quite understanding. If you can't even do that, how can you earn your salary?"

Sophia replied with a smile. "That's a fair point. Let's get in the car, I'lI drive " Daniel said as he opened the car door.

Once they were in the car, Daniel drove smoothly out of the garage. When they reached the main road in the city, Daniel drove fast except for stopping for a longer time at the pedestrian crossings.

As Daniel’s car approached a guard post, he suddenly smelled a strong scent of blood. He frowned and immediately sped up the car.

"What's wrong, Daniel?" Sophia asked nervously from the passenger seat.

"It's nothing, I'II just take you home first," Daniel replied.

"What about you?"

"I will be fine as long as you're safe."
