Atop a hill, far from the contact with city, in the countryside was a house that stood alone amidst the grassland-like landscape, and not far away from there was a calm and beautiful lake.

A mother duck was swimming in the lake with a dozen of ducklings on its back, from the front of the house to the nearest connecting road a path, there was a road made out of rocks giving it a touch of aesthetic beauty.

Shortly, a luxurious-looking car, which was actually the newest model of Rolls Royce Phantom, arrived at the scene.

A man wearing a typical dress of a driver who came out first opened the back door of the car, and out of the car, descended a man with dirty blond hair and pitch-black eyes.

It was a long journey, It almost took a day of journey in the top model car just to reach there.

stretching his body after getting out of the car, Eren looked at the beauty of nature in front of him!

"It isn't anything like how it used to be."

Eren said, remembering the once old and worn-out house that he used to live in, there wasn't even a proper sealing at that time, but now...In place of the old house stood a mansion-like house.

It was His father-in-law who made the place like this, not that he cared about Eren, it was just that if information about how the prospective Son-in-law of the Rozental family lived in a worn-out house in some countryside were to spread, it would tarnish their reputation.

Eren walked towards the lake in the mean time enjoying the beauty that was present in front of his eyes.

The long grassland field, cows that were grazing in the distance, and the green mountains that stood behind his newly renovated house, all gave a touch of natural beauty.

Right when he was looking around him in a daze, he got to see a little boy, holding an old wooden flute sitting beside a tree.

A dozen or so cattle and cows were around him, grazing on the green grass.

Eren looked at the boy, he was all alone there, except for the cattle around him, he wondered what he was doing alone in the middle of those cows.

He was about to walk near the boy when he heard Sacrlet.

"Master, Everyone is gathered outside"

Leaving his thoughts aside, Eren looked back striding towards the house.

There were more people gathered there than he had guessed, to be exact there were thirteen of them.

'Rozentals sure are rich!'

Thought Eren inwardly since they had the money to waste on thirteen people just to look after a house where no one lives.

A middle-aged man came forward from the group politely bowing with one hand folded backward, he was wearing a typical butler outfit.

"Welcome, Master. I am Hans, a butler in charge of looking after this house, We didn't know you would visit, I apologize for not being here in advance to welcome you."

He said in a single breath, still bowing to him.

But unlike him who was showing respect to Eren, the workers didn't seem to have a good opinion of him.

They were giving him stares that were filled with jealousy and hate.

Why would they hate him, you ask?

Well, it was obvious, when people like them who were working hard to make their living, a scum like Eren, who was even below them on the social ladder, became the lover of the 7th daughter of the Rozental family, and became a prospective son-in-law of the Rozentals, and now they had to bow in front of him? of course they would scoff at him.

'I am the toy boy of Rozentals after all'.

Eren thought to himself as he could feel the stares burning a hole through him.

anyway, Eren looked at all the faces of the workers, but nothing like a status window popped up, maybe because they were all normal people!

"You don't have to worry, it was a sudden decision, I will be staying here for the next six months, make the necessary arrangements, then I will be in your care."

The butler was a bit startled by Eren saying that he would stay there for the next six months, but he was too experienced to get it on his behavior as he answered shortly clearing his shocked expression.

"understood, Master, I will prepare your room right away"

Eren slightly nodded at him and walked in.

It has been almost three years since he last visited this place, and he was curious about how things have changed!

Asking Scarlet to unpack the things, Eren started to roam around the place.

He was excited and there were many things that he had yet to see there, he curiously walked around the place like a fool, not being aware of a shadow that was tailing behind him!!
