Two days later, Amy was back in the Slytherin mansion, although not fully recovered she was well enough to stay home now. She was stunned to realize that Oscar had moved to the second mansion, leaving her with more questions than the ones she already had to ask.

Oscar was willing to tell her everything and he did, answering every question she had without leaving any details behind, but as he had promised himself, he kept the truth about the conference to himself, this was something he would tell her later, not at the moment.

To end their story time, Oscar told her that Ellen was coming to stay in the mansion, and there was not a single tale that took Amy by surprise as this one. Without context, he already believed that Oscar had made up with his ex-wife while she was asleep and now they were getting back together.

"Why?" She asked, and sat to rest her head on the bed frame, she hoped that her assumptions were not true, and if they were, she couldn't wait to rebuke Oscar for ma

Oscar got off the laptop and headed downstairs along with Tom, as he approached the end of the stairs, he caught a glimpse of his ex-wife seated in the living room with a box next to her. His eyes were fixed on the television screen displaying one of the few series that drew her attention, but she wasn't oblivious to the fact that someone else had come into the living room. Despite his silent steps, Ellen turned around as she noticed his presence, and she wasn't too surprised to see Oscar here, after all he was always here whenever she came. They both stared at each other for a while without saying a word, and at this time, Tom had left the living room to give them some privacy to have whatever discussion they wanted. "Good day," Ellen finally broke the silence as she stood up without taking her eyes off the man that she once was and still is attracted to. With a long sigh, Oscar replied, "Good evening, Ellen." There was no smile on his face, nor was his expression calm

"He hired you as a maid in his home?" "I'm not going to lie to you, Cherry, i wishhe did. If he had hired me, then I'd get paid, but I'm going to be working my life out here for zero dollars." Ellen stood outside the mansion as she made a call to her best friend and vent her frustration. "So you agreed?" Asked cherry. "What other choices do I have?" Ellen asked, "If I don't do this, Oscar will make sure that my family will suffer, he will stop at nothing and even make sure our clothes are taken away from us, I have no choice, I deserve it after all." "Hey!" The voice of a young lady called out to her from behind, "You are not supposed to be out here making calls. Please come to the kitchen immediately. We need your help." Ellen frowned but changed her expression when she turned to face the lady, "I'll be with you shortly," she said and quickly said goodbye to Cherry before following the young lady back into the mansion. On getting back to the mansion, Oscar strolled into the building, his pace as slow as possible, thinking about the outcome of today's event. He still couldn't get over it regardless of what he was told about the kind of man that Aiden was. His absent-mindedness caused him to wander into the kitchen. Saying that he was absent-minded is just a random statement because somehow he knew he was headed there, intending to pick a glass for a drink. When he got into the kitchen, he saw his ex-wife working with a fellow maid, both ladies were making a meal, and the aroma filled the room. Oscar averted his gaze from his ex-wife and walked up to the cabinet to pick a glass. When the maid noticed him, she nudged Ellen to go and attend to him, and begrudgingly Ellen left the counter where she stood to meet him. "Can I help you with anything, sir?" She asked, stuttering as she said each word. It had been less than two weeks, yet she wasn't comfortable enough, she would never be. "Yes, just

Ellen could not get over what she had heard from the maid, the fact that Oscar had someone else gave her the feeling that her world was coming to an end and there would be no redemption. Just before she was told, Ellen had boldly stated that she wanted him to get someone else but now she regretted her words. "Uhm, I'm happy for him," she said and the maid rolled back her eyes disdainfully knowing that it was a lie. "So, you are just going to let him, and do nothing about it?" The maid asked her with raised brows, as they both returned to the kitchen. "What am I supposed to do?" She asked, but deep down she also wanted to do something to make sure what she had just heard didn't become a reality. After all, the reason why Micheal sent her here was not to become a maid but a love interest. She hadn't even told him yet that Oscar had turned her into a maid, or that Oscar was the CEO, but she wouldn't bother doing any of that, after all, she had said it numerous times and he never be

"Why are you just standing there?" Oscar's voice brought her back to reality, and just then Ellen realised that she was standing there for such a long time doing nothing all the while. "Oh, sorry," she quickly apologized and took the clothes from the bed, "Sorry," she said again and was about to walk out of the room but Oscar's words stopped her in her tracks. "What is going on with you?" He asked her and Ellen stood there for a few seconds without saying a word, wondering what he meant by that. "Answer me, Ellen," He raised his voice, startling the young lady in front of him. "You know what, seats down," Oscar commanded her and Ellen looked around the room, spotted the sofa next to the wardrobe and gently sat down, placing the clothes on her lap. "What happened to you, Ellen?" He asked again and Ellen sighed heavily, she didn't know how to answer that question or where to even begin because at the moment she was just speechless. "Just let her go, Oscar," Amy's voice came from behind as Oscar stood by the window in the living room upstairs. He looked down at the gate where Ellen was struggling to leave but the guards stopped her from doing so claiming that it was his orders. "I can't, not yet, Ellen will not suffer for what her parents did, I know I'm trying to get my revenge but I'm not that wicked, her case is little and she'll only suffer as little as she made me suffer, but her mom and dad, they'll regret it," Oscar said. "But that also applied to her, you know?" Amy asked and Oscar turned around to face his Mom with a quizzical expression, "If you hurt her parents," she continued, "And she watches you do that, don't you think she'll be hurt as well, so there is no point." "Nope," Oscar interjected, walked away from the window and threw himself on one of the sofas, "Even Ellen agrees that her parents should suffer the consequences, she will be hurt because it's not in the mind of anyone to watch the

It appeared as though time stood still as Oscar stood face to face with his uncle Aiden in the living room. He couldn't help but wonder why the old man still had the nerves to show up at the Slytherin mansion the very next day after his release from custody. "Why are you here?" Amy asked him the question that took Oscar so long to ask. "Amy, quite nice to see you...alive," Aiden uttered with a menacing grimace, his confidence to issue out threats publicly was very shocking, considering that he was a constant suspect. From behind Oscar, Amy made her way in between her son and his uncle, her expression was full of rage, but Aiden did not seem to care, to him it was nothing but a sheep acting like a lion to drive off the wolf. "Get out," she ordered him, and at the same time, Tom walked into the room only to get yelled at by Amy. "I thought I gave an order!" She snapped staring at Aiden from head to toe. "That fool huh?" Aiden mumbled, seated comfortably in his car, he could only imagine what Oscar was thinking at the moment. He wanted nothing more but to instill fear into the young man and make sure he lost that position. He had gathered enough evidence, because while in custody, a group of elites paid for his release without Oscar's consent, which means that all the while, Aiden had been in his home, staying low until the day of trial where he was brought to the court with a police van making it look as if he was truly in custody. "Hmm," He mumbled, "Once I get him out of the picture, Amy would be easy to handle, she's a woman, what's the worst she can do?" "Oscar is quite difficult to handle, I must say," One of the men seated in the car commented. "Wasn't it Jordan who tried to get rid of him yet failed, didn't the conference hall collapse in the Netherlands while he was there yet somehow, he managed to survive it?" "What?" Aiden asked because this was the first time h

As he walked into the Slytherin mansion, Nigel couldn't believe his eyes, it looked as if they lived on an entirely different planet because their home was just grand both inside and out. For a moment, he wished to become a member of the family, just so he could visit the mansion every day or even live there. But his admiration of the mansion was cut short when the voice of a young man called his attention from behind. "Please sit down," He said and Nigel nodded before taking his seat on the sofa, waiting for them to attend to him as soon as they could. It has a lot to do with Nigel's contributions to the company handed down directly from the managing director at the London branch, and it was meant to help Mark determine what kind of promotion Nigel was to be given. After accessing the information, which

The expression on his farces was somewhat disturbing, like he had just seen a dead body or a gruesome sight from a crime scene. Looking at him again, anyone could think he was irritated, but Nigel would rather not ask him any questions since it had nothing to do with him, but at the same time he hoped he wasn't being too insensitive. “Good afternoon sir,” He greeted Aston and the CEO lifted his head from the phone and replied “Yes, sit down,” His gaze returned to the screen, and this time, Nigel couldn't hold back his curiosity. “Hope I didn't come in at the wrong time?” “Huh?” Aston raised a brow, clearly he was distracted, bu

But Tom having spotted them from afar, signalled other bodyguards and immediately followed them from behind, whilst maintaining a good distance. Neither Oscar nor his mother said a word while they were together, he knew the emotional tumult, he knew that her heart was broken, shattered to pieces. He knew that she wanted to strangle Aston to death and he didn't blame her for feeling that way. How quick they were to conclude, how swift they were to make him the CEO in his absence without even knowing whether or not they were related. The striking resemblance was too much to go unnoticed, but most people will argue that it's possible because people look alike in the world and this could just be a sheer coincidence.“Yes, so it seems,” Oscar nodded his head in agreement,“And from what I know, you went missing three months ago, it's good to see you back,” Oscar said and didn't let go of Amy, the lady fuming with anger and Oscar could feel it build up with each passing second. “Well yes, I have been away for a long time,” Aston uttered nonchalantly, and stole a glance at Amy, “And oh, before I forget,” He added and turned around to face Miles.“This is my son, Miles Slytherin,” He said, leaving everyone's jaws to drop to their feet. Within three days, the drama had subsided, all the Slytherin Empire companies were back to resume operations, and as easy as it may seem it was truly hell for all of them, both CEO and those under him. When Oscar returned to the mansion, Amy had already hosted a party to welcome him, inviting a lot of people to the Slytherin mansion, both within and outside the Slytherin Empire The celebration was grand, and Oscar was delighted to have come back to such a gathering, and he appreciated all those who came to celebrate with him. As for William Hudsons, he had confirmed by himself that Micheal was alive after he noticed that the detectives knew the truth. He tried to conceal it but only went into more trouble with the authorities. He was arrested under several charges, and his company was suspended. Micheal's son was also arrested for conspiracy, and as if that was not enough, most of their assets were confiscated, including their homes and land across west Arcadia. The case ended

“Why do you think so?” Oscar inquired, even believed that Micheal was dead, the evidence was so clear even though Micheal's pictures were not shown. “Think about it sir,” Leo replied, “Mr William Hudsons did not say a word about his son's death until two days after the supposed incident that caused him to lose his life, and while many people think he was grieving, I don't think so.” He came out two days later and claimed that the Slytherins had killed his son, and it had been four days now since the incident and Micheal is yet to be buried, what's causing the delay.” “He didn't see the need to publicize his son's funeral?” Oscar replied but in such a way that it seemed like he was also asking a question. “I thought of that, but Mr Williams is not known for keeping quiet, he announces everything very quickly. Take when he lost his mother for example, the funeral took place two days after, and there was a full life coverage broadcasted on the news, so what makes Micheal different?”

Days turned to night and things were not going well with the Slytherin nor with the Caribbean enterprise, the company clash became a more brutal war, especially after the death of Micheal Hudson. Without any logical evidence, Williams concluded that the Slytherins had everything to do with the death of his son and no one could tell him otherwise. He went as far as suing the Slytherins for murder, but as powerful as the Slytherins were, proper investigations needed to be carried out before the arrest. And in this case, the Slytherin Empire had the upper hand and no action was taken. Oscar was already sick and tired of the travels. Within the past week, he has visited five top political officials, people he never thought he'd meet in his lifetime. He spent more money than he had ever spent all his life, trying to solve the problem at hand, leaving the Slytherin experts to deal with William Hudson, but the suspension was yet to be reconsidered and he never thought it was going to be
