84. So, it's over?

It felt like a military war zone down there, but without the sound of a single gunshot. There were mostly physical combats and furniture damage.

The cops were doing all that they could to keep these men at bay, whilst trying not to break anything, but that was far from reality. These men used all that they could lay their hands on as weapons, especially since most of their guns had been seized or knocked out of their hands.

Aiden attempted to hide from the chaos but sat underneath the staircase, unaware that he was the first person Tom noticed as soon as he got down the stairs.

Looking behind him, Tom almost chuckled at the coward who had come along with an army to fight them. At first, he wanted to assist the cops since they were not so large but then realised that if he had their leader, then they would compose themselves so that his life would be spared.
