Oscar had seen the phone call and immediately silenced his phone, he had been expecting one of the two to call since the beginning of the day, because he knew what he had done to them was too dire to overlook. But he didn't just silence his phone because he didn't want to speak, rather he did that because he was seated outside the mansion with Stephen, the spy to who Doctor Philip had introduced him. "Hope it's not an important call sir?" Stephen inquired, having noticed how Oscar put off his phone and silenced it, "I can wait if you have to take it." "No, no it's alright, it is not that important," Oscar replied with a sigh, "Just some random nagging client, so what was it that you were saying about Tristan Coleman?" "Oh, well he is the one who trained me, I've been on a few missions with him, but now I work for the government most of the time... "And Tristan?" Oscar inquired. "He is a busy man, running one of the most prestigious computer science industries in th
One of the workers in the park had come and directed Oscar to a gazebo, built on a spot where Axel City can very seen below. The sitting area were so beautiful and cosy, Oscar had never seen anything like it. "Do you want me to get you anything, sir?" The workers asked him. Nodding his head, Oscar responded, "Yes, a bottle of fruit wine will be fine." "Any specific fruit or wine in mind?" asked the worker but Oscar shook his head. "No," He said, "Just give me the best." 'I might as well as enjoy life now that I have it haha,' Oscar thought to himself as he watched the man exit the gazebo to get his order. While he waited, Oscar saw a car pull up at the parking lot far from the gazebo, and having known his father-in-law long enough, Oscar recognised that car anywhere. "They are here sir," Tom announced. "I can see that," Replied Oscar as he adjusted his sitting position, shifted his necktie so that it was centralised, and finally took out his phone from his pocket
"Well you finally said a word, please take a seat Mr. Briggs and let's discuss the matter that brought you here," Oscar said, keeping a smile on his face, that evil smile that ignited flames in the hearts of his in-laws."You are the CEO of the Slytherin Empire?" Mr Briggs stuttered while taking his seat."Is that a question or a random compliment?" Oscar asked with one raised brow, he filled his glass with the fruit wine and sipped from it as he awaited the response."Are you?" Briggs asked him."What do you think?" Oscar interjected,"Who were you told that you were coming to see, Oscar or the CEO of the Slytherin Empire?" "How?" Briggs asked,"How did you become the CEO of the Slytherin Empire..."Correction," Oscar cut him off,"I never told you that I was the CEO of Slytherin Empire, don't say what will get you in trouble.""What do you mean?"He asked."I am not the CEO of Slytherin Empire," Oscar answered, leaving both Briggs, his wife and those with him confused."No one wil
"Permit me to ask what you know about my relationship with this family?" Oscar shut him out with a frown, "I mean, let us assume that you were correct, what would you have said caused the dispute?" Oscar asked him while waiting for his response with a furious glare. "I'm just saying the truth and you know it but refuse to accept it, that's the way it is, Mr Oscar, you... "Stop it, Marcus," Briggs cut his assistant off immediately to stop him from saying anything to make matters worse. Only he understood the intensity of the dispute and wished that Marcus had never brought it up in the first place. "Mr. Briggs, the least I expected from you was to bring your assistant to insult me. I've known him for quite a while and he never watches his words. Just tell him to be careful with me, or he will regret it... "You'll also try to silence me now huh?" Marcus interjected. "I said, shut up! Marcus!" Briggs yelled, resisting the urge to slap his assistant across the face. He then tu
While resting on the seat, Oscar was able to contain his fury, he came out of the car and took a deep breath, and all that he could think in his head was, "Let me give this person another chance to apologise, and if Marcus as much as says one more word to me at that table, he'll go home with bruises." Upon getting back to the table, they all stared at him like a figure to behold, even the Great Pyramid would be shocked if it were to get that much attention. "Ahem," Oscar cleared his throat first, "I apologise for walking out of the table, but if Marcus says another word to me, he'd regret coming here today, and I won't repeat myself, I'll just take action. " In response to his words, Marcus rolled his eyes and looked away, while Oscar proceeded, "Now," He said, "What have we agreed upon?" "Well," Albert decided to speak for all, "If you are not willing to settle this amicably without involving the court, then yes, we are okay with it." "Good," Oscar interjected.
Oscar's flight to Netherlands was quite exciting, it was his first time on a first class aeroplane, and not just that, the plane belonged to him, and the exterior and interior all had the Slytherin Empire logo on them. He had never had such a peaceful flight, with just him, Leo and Tom on the plane. A couple of bodyguards were with them as well, but that was just it. It was both spacious and very luxurious, but it did not change the fact that Oscar was uncomfortable on air, but he was too mature to show the uneasiness. After they landed at the airport, he took a deep breath and thought, "Well that was a safe flight, thank God." But when he stepped out of the plane, he couldn't believe what met his eyes, there was a whole media crew, with cameras and microphones. There was also a red carpet running from the end of the aeroplane steps to his car not too far away. "How were they able to set this all up in a matter of seconds?" He pondered, but chose not to dwell on it and it d
"The train station?" Oscar asked. He looked out the window but saw no train, nor any signs that indicated that there was a train station around the area. "Yes sir," Leo replied, "Remember when I told you that I can't explain the process? Well, you will understand that now." Before Leo could finish his words, Tom opened the door on the left side for Oscar and the young man stepped out of the car, not knowing what he was about to face. Upon stepping out, he saw that they were in a large hall, like an abandoned airport all, without a single furniture or gadget. Before he could wonder what was happening, another car pulled up in front of him, but calling this a car was just wrong. It drove on a track, just like a train, and following the trial, Oscar noticed that the track led into a tunnel at the far end of this empty hall. The length of the car was two times the length of a limousine but its exterior design looks like what came out of a futuristic science fiction movie. As s
"Well this is temptation, and I'd rather just go into the room and finish the sleep I started on the train," Oscar said to himself as he stole a glance at the kitchen door where she had passed, and walked into the room. He closed the door behind him and sat on the edge of the bed so that he could take off his shoes. Once done, he laid back on the bed, only to be interrupted by yet another knock on his bedroom door. For a second, his heart skipped a beat when he thought that it was the maid, but his mind was laid to rest when he realized that it was just some bodyguard who had come with his box containing the clothes he'd wear, and they helped him arrange them in the wardrobe before leaving. He laid back down and closed his eyes, and soon enough, Oscar drifted off into slumber, and there, things were not as peaceful as he hoped for them to be. ____ He was seated in a hall along with a large number of people, an estimate of two hundred and seventy men were seated in this huge
