40. Andrew Was Worse Than Albert

"But why should I be picked up by Mr. Andrew? I'm going to Javier's." Blaire tried to resist, she didn't want to go with Andrew to his family's house and she had promised her husband to go home together.

"I'll come with Javier..."

"No! You have to go with Mr. Andrew! Javier can go alone. You'll meet at the house too," Anne snapped, adamant that Blaire should go with Andrew.

"But I don't feel comfortable having him pick me up, mom. You don't intend to set me up with him like you set me up with Mr. Albert, do you?" asked Blaire, she was beginning to suspect that her mother was continuing to make her and Andrew closer. They hadn't been close at all or known each other since they were in school, and even then it had been a long time.

"Don't ask so many questions! You want to be a disobedient child, don't you? What's so hard about following my lead, Blaire? You just need to get together, that's all I want. I already gave him your number, so just wait for him to call you, okay?" warned Anne
