63. Making Blaire Wait a Long Time

Jay was still waiting for Javier who was still meeting with clients. He was sitting outside the VIP room when he suddenly felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket. Slightly confused, Jay took the phone out of his pocket and saw that the company's number was calling him.

"Did something happen?" muttered Jay as he picked up the phone, as it was rare for the receptionist to call him during off hours.

"Hello, what's up?" asked Jay when the call was connected.

"Sir, are you still accompanying Mr. Javier to the client meeting?" Instead of answering, the receptionist asked back which automatically made Jay even more confused. He also unconsciously nodded his head even though the receptionist couldn't see him.

"Yes, I'm still accompanying Mr. Javier to the meeting. Did something happen? Why are you suddenly asking me that?" Jay knew that something had happened in the office because something like this had never happened before.
