"There are too many people here, if I wasn't a company leader, I would definitely choose not to come to events like this," Javier muttered as he picked up a glass of wine and drank it. He was aware of the stares of the people around him, especially the women. All those stares made him uncomfortable, they seemed ready to pounce on him.

"If Blaire had come along, they probably wouldn't have looked at me like that. They would have thought I was a single guy." Javier was eager to show his wedding ring to Blaire as the women stared at him, how could he not feel uncomfortable or disgusted if they were staring at him while waving their hands or biting their lower lips? It was obvious that they were trying to flirt with Javier.
