31. Saving her

“Is it done?” asked Dwayne over his phone. He was standing in front of the window and over viewing the dark outside of their mansion.

“Yes, boss. That building is now falling.”

“You know I cannot get my name connected to this, okay?”

“Of course. You don’t have to worry, sir.”

“I’ll ask my secretary to send you the money tomorrow,” he said, and then hung up the phone. Dwayne took the glass of whiskey and poured it into his glass. He couldn’t stop smiling and thinking that the JL network was now burning. He doesn’t care. All those who tried to make him the enemy will fall down hard. Dwayne drank the alcohol and felt the burning sensation in his throat through his stomach. “Yes!” he said happily, as he couldn’t contain the satisfaction that he was feeling right now. And at that moment, the door of their room was opened hard. Then Roxane came rushing.

“Honey! Dwayne!” Roxane went to Dwayne’s side. “Did you hear that the JL network is burning now?”
