54. Grief

“H-How?”

Floyd's knees became soft. He slightly loses his balance but manages to stand up. Floyd shook his head.

“W-Why? How?! Somebody give me an answer!” Floyd shouted as he looked at Trace. He was lying on the cold table with a thin white blanket covering his body. Floyd couldn’t even look at his bulging face. Trace was so pale that the dark circle on his face could be seen. The black line on his neck was noticeable too.

It was breaking Floyd’s heart. He couldn’t think how hard it must have been for Trace.

Jude cleared his throat. “H-He was seen near the beach, young master.”

Floyd frowned at Jude. “Beach? What was he doing there?”

“The police are already investigating–”

“Just now? That’s bullshit! I want to know what happened to him right now!”

Jude almost jumped in shock. But he remained in his position. Looking down and feeling sorry for his master. He was also surprised and sad because of what happened to Trace. No one expected it.

“Y-Yes, young master.”

“Trace?! Trace?!
