On the same night of the wedding day, on the rooftop of the Creed Tech company, Regan kept on drinking, despite Gage trying to stop him.

“You should stop, Boss,” Gage warned. “You have drunk too much already. If you continue like this, you’ll end up vomiting.”

“Idiot. I’m drinking because I’m happy, so it won’t hurt even if I drink until dawn,” Regan blurted and gulped on wine. “Haah, my marriage happened about sixty years ago, and I don’t even remember what happened that night. Do you know why?”

Gage shook his head.

“I have seen everything there’s to see in a woman’s body before marriage itself,” Regan said, looking slightly guilty. “I knew my wife before marriage, and so there was nothing left for us both to see after marriage. Maybe that’s why we’ve quarreled all the time. We were like love birds before marriage, but something changed after marriage. We lost all the thrill, and life felt boring. We ended up divorcing in the end for reasons that feel so stupid right now.”
