Russell’s POV:

The minute you let people know you have money is the moment you will end up attracting the wrong type of attention.

That’s what started happening to us right now.

A group of four men began following us. There could be more of them stationed at different places. My heart started racing against my will.

I didn’t tell Kyra because I didn’t want her to panic.

If she panicked, those men might realize it and act in haste.

“Let’s stop at that cafe,” I insisted.

“Mm? Didn’t we just eat? I’m not hungry,” Kyra replied. I still grabbed her hand and took her with me. It was easy because she didn’t resist.

We sat down, and these four men also sat at a different seat. This confirmed that they were definitely following us, but I tried not to look at them.

But then I wouldn’t know what they’re planning, so I ended up staring straight at them. A few seconds later, they probably realized that I caught onto whatever that they were up to, and I acted like I was trying to call someone. This
