CHAPTER 304

Russell grabbed the tree trunk and shook it.

“Wait, wait,” Kyra was saying in a hurry, but then the guavas fell all around her. One of the guavas even crashed on her head, making her hiss in pain. “Aw!”

“I’m sorry!” Russell hurried over and started blowing air on top of her head, which suddenly took Kyra to her school days when some of her friends used to do that. His gesture made her forget the pain. She wanted him to keep doing that. After half-minute, he stopped blowing air and gently kissed her on that spot. It felt like his lips sucked some of the pain away. “Is it still hurting?”

“It’s still lingering,” she said.

He kissed her again. “Now?”

She smiled. “It’s gone.” To thank his efforts, she planted a kiss on his hands with which he had shaken the tree. “Your hands look soft from afar, but they are rough.”

“I’ve gone through a hellish training in the Agnar clan’s grounds,” Russell replied. “I think I can fight a bear now.”

Kyra chuckled. “You surely jest.” she pinched his cheek.
