CHAPTER 308

Gage helped Regan get back into his car and then gave him tablets and water. He also opened the car window so that Regan could breathe better.

Regan was no longer crying, but his fists were clenched.

“I can’t believe she’s so heartless that she wouldn’t give you a second chance,” Gage blurted in anger. “How could she act like this toward her own dad? Say whatever you want, Boss, but you shouldn’t beg her again. You’ve already done it three times now. Please don’t do it again. If I tell my dad that I let you cry on the street, he’ll kick me in the face and spit on me.”

Regan began to rethink where it all started going wrong between him and his daughter. There were many times when he pissed her off, but probably, the worst of them all was when he told her he’d find her a partner he deemed worthy after getting the guy she was dating beaten by his bodyguards.

“Even after all these years, she still kept all those things in her heart?” he squeezed his forehead with his fists.
