After returning home, Elora silently put the brown bottle back in the fridge. Nobody talked to Tom about it, as if nothing happened. This made it easier for Tom to talk with them without feeling that embarrassed.

Jessica then asked Russell to resume the driving lessons, so he took her out to the mountain road, which was particularly dangerous for new drivers because it had many twists and turns.

Russell took her to the top of the mountain where there were mostly the estates and villas of the rich people. He stopped the car at a park, where they ate fast food. Jessica told him she wanted to spend some time in the park, but Russell didn’t let her. He told her that she would be going to work tomorrow, so she ought to improve on her driving skills as much as possible.

Nevertheless, he challenged her. “If you can take this car to the bottom of this mountain without hitting anything, then I’ll fulfill one of your requests.”

Jessica’s expression changed. “My request? Any requests?”

“Yeah, bu
