CHAPTER 422

Taniya was dropped at home, and she whispered these parting words in Jessica’s ears: Shake with love.

Jessica’s expression warped a little because she didn’t quite understand if Taniya meant it in a funny way or a weird way.

Nevertheless, she started the car and was returning back to Tom’s house. Russell was still sitting in the back. As he looked out through the window, it seemed like the moon was following them while showering a chilly yet saintly light.

Suddenly the car stopped on a desolate road.

Russell looked at her, “Why did you stop?”

“I didn’t stop it,” she replied. “It stopped by itself.”

“The engine must have overheated,” he said.

“At night?”

“Well, this is an old car, so they can’t be understood by common sense,” Russell got out and looked for a water source.

Luckily, there was a small park nearby. He went there and filled water in a plastic bottle that was lying on the road. He returned and did something that Jessica didn’t understand, but it seemed to have done the trick
