Ross was standing at the entrance and was looking in the direction of the old car, inside which Elora was sitting right now. “Mm?” Ross turned around. Seeing Russell carrying two bags, he smiled. “You’re leaving. Good for you. My driver didn’t bring your advance money, yet, so…” he took out a check book from his suit pocket. “Tell me, how much do you want? Ten thousand? Twenty thousand?”

“I don’t need your money,” Russell blurted.

Ross smiled and then wrote a check for 25,000 dollars and tried to give it to him.

“I said I don’t want it,” Russell pushed it back and was walking past him, but he briefly stopped and said, “but there is one thing I want from you, though.”
