CHAPTER 623

Kyra and Nora were eating lunch in her home.

“How is the case progressing, ma’am?” Connie, the old maid, asked them.

“The judge is not responding well, but we’re trying our best,” Kyra said. “I will go to any lengths to bring him out.”

“I hope he’s eating well,” Nora said in a sad voice. “He loves eating good food and then working out. But he can’t do any of those in jai.”

Nora’s words made Kyra purse her lips emotionally.

Just then, Jessica entered through the main door.

Kyra saw her and frowned. “What are you doing here?”

“I was pushed by Mr. Regan into coming here,” Jessica said, and then looked at Nora with whom she was a little acquainted with as both of them had met in Tom’s house when Russell was staying there. “Russell now knows the truth about his parents.”

Nora started coughing all of a sudden.

Connie quickly gave her a glass of water.

“What truth?” Kyra asked. “What does it matter to me if it’s something about Russell’s parents? You should just tell me what exactly you came
