“Jessica and I will get married this year,” Russell said softly, but there was a hint of certainty in it.

Natasha’s heart shook, causing her arteries and veins to vibrate like spiderwebs. Yet, she sat like a stone, not at all moving an inch.

“After my divorce with Kyra is settled, then we’ll look for the right time and do it,” Russell said.

Natasha still couldn’t say anything, but her jaw was hardening.

“It is fortunate that you are born pretty, but you should let that out of your head. Or you’ll keep making the same dumb mistakes again and again.”

“Don’t tell me what to do. Shut up and get lost,” she fumed at him.

“You might think you’re mad, but you don’t know Jessica. She got a degree in madness when she was very young,” Russell said as he opened the door and stepped out. “But she’s become mature and learned to control herself. You should do the same.”
