“Could you please just remain calm? Why do you always seem so sensitive?” Mr. Cory pleaded with Sophia, who stood unwavering, her grip firm on the gun pointed at him. Mr. Cory reached into his coat pocket, retrieving a small, weathered piece of paper, which he then handed to Oliver.
