Zuri vented her emotions loudly, her voice echoing in the hospital room. "You think I'm going to let my daughter continue to suffer living with a poor, jobless man like you? You'll only bring trouble! I don't want Amora to get caught up in endless drama!"

Zuri threw the small drink bottle beside her bed, right at Blake. Luckily, Blake dodged immediately, so he didn't get hurt. The sound of the shard made Amora feel scared and panicked.

"Mom, calm down." Amora stroked Zuri's arm, still trying hard to calm her mother down. "Mom is going home today. Let's get ready before the doctor comes."

Amora tugged gently on her mother's arm to change clothes in the bathroom. However, Zuri ignored her words and instead shoved Amora's hand away.

"I'm not done with you yet, damn it." Zuri continued to rant, hurling harsh words at Blake. "The only thing you need to do is stay away from us! I don't even know why I ever let you into our lives. Stop wishing because there's no place for you here. And you're ...." She pointed at Amora. "Divorce him and do as I say. I am your mother who has more right to your life."

Amora looked confused and hurt. "Mom, I can choose for myself. It's not about your decision."

Zuri ignored Amora's protest. "I know better what's best for you, Amora. Don't fight me!"

The atmosphere in the room was getting tense, with Zuri remaining adamant and Amora feeling the emotional weight growing heavier.

Zuri stood with her body trembling, her face red and full of emotion. She seemed unable to control herself, her hands shaking as she picked up a pillow from the bed. With a sudden movement, she threw the pillow at Blake with full force, her face filled with anger and despair.

Zuri's movements looked chaotic and uncontrolled as if she wanted to release all her frustrations. As the pillow went flying, she followed with dramatic hand movements, showing how angry and hysterical she was at that moment. Her eyes were bulging, full of hatred and helplessness, creating a tense atmosphere in the room.

She looked like someone caught in an emotional storm, trying to express her feelings through impulsive actions. After her pillow was thrown, Zuri sighed heavily, feeling a temporary relief, though the situation remained unresolved.

"Mom, please calm down. This isn't good for you, and you'll get hurt even more if it continues like this." Amora, seeing her increasingly hysterical mother, felt anxious. She approached and gently grasped Zuri's hand.

Zuri looked at her daughter with eyes still full of emotion, but there was a hint of doubt in her gaze. "Shut up. I won't let you talk until you agree to divorce this useless man."

Amora tried to calm things down. "I understand. We can talk about it later when we get home. If you continue like this, it will disturb the other patients."

"I don't care!" Zuri shouted even louder, more wildly throwing everything near her at Blake.

Blake didn't have a chance to speak. After all, it would only make the atmosphere tenser, and Zuri would be even more hysterical because, right now, the middle-aged woman didn't want to hear Blake's voice at all. Even just looking at her like this made the blood in Zuri's body boil hot.

"Mom, stop it." Amora tried to hold back her attack on Blake until their voices were heard so loudly outside the room.

A nurse came in with a stiff face that was tense and annoyed. "Can't you shut up, ma'am? You're disturbing the other patients."

The nurse's arrival instantly nurse'sy shut Zuri's. Shelmed down after the nurse entered herm and asked her hand o be quiet.

"You are going home today, so please be quiet for a while. You should also get enough rest so that when the doctor checks on you before you go home, you will have fully recovered." The nurse's gentle voice brought calmness, making Zuri realize that she needed to give herself some space to rest.

Slowly, Zuri took a deep breath, trying to control her drifting thoughts. "I'm sorry, nurse."

The nurse nodded slowly, helping Zuri to climb back onto the bed quietly. Not long after, the doctor entered the room to check Zuri's condition.

"Good, you've fully recovered and you can go home." The doctor smiled, giving permission to go home.

Zuri smiled with relief. As the nurse began tidying up the medical supplies, Zuri felt a little more comfortable, as if there was hope amidst the chaos she felt.

"That's it, I wish you good health, ma'am." The nurse and doctor excused themselves from Zuri's presence.

Amora gently stroked Zuri's arm, giving her the support she needed. Blake, ever alert, carried Zuri's bag and made sure everything was ready.

As they walked out of the hospital, Zuri felt the weight on her heart lift a little. They got into Amora's car. Inside the car, the atmosphere was tense. Zuri sat in the back, looking at Blake with a sharp gaze, while Amora was in the front, driving the car.

Zuri held her breath for a moment before exploding. "Why does this trouble-making man have to be here too?" Her voice shook the atmosphere in the car, taking Amora by surprise.

Amora exhaled softly, looking at her mother with a calm face. "It's okay, we're going back to the same house."

Hearing that made Zuri even more furious, immediately looking at Amora sharply. "What? I told you that I don't want to see her anymore, and I want you to part ways today."

Zuri insisted on expressing her dislike for Blake. She felt it was unfair that Blake was coming with them when he could have taken a taxi or bus home on his own.

"Just get out of here and go by yourself." Zuri waved her hand, shooing Blake out of the car.

"Mom," Amora called her mother with a slightly cold look in her eyes. She immediately drove her vehicle regardless of Zuri's babbling, who continued to want Blake to get out.

Thirty minutes later, they finally arrived home. However, Miguel was waiting with expensive flower arrangements, a luxurious bouquet of flowers, and several gift boxes to welcome Zuri back home.

"Wow, what is this?" Zuri covered her mouth in disbelief at all that was in front of her.

"Surprise!" Miguel raised both hands as he walked over to Zuri and Amora, then gave the middle-aged woman the bouquet in his hand. "Congratulations on returning home and getting healthy."

"Oh, thank you, Miguel." Zuri happily accepted the luxurious bouquet and hugged Miguel for a moment while stroking the man's back. "Ah, you are indeed a very kind man, Miguel. You even bothered to make me a surprise like this."

Zuri smiled happily while inhaling the fragrance of the luxurious flowers in her hand. The bouquet was quite large, and there were various types of colourful fresh flowers, which made Zuri feel happy.

"And here, a small gift for you." Miguel handed the gift box to Zuri.

Suddenly, Zuri's eyes lit up even more. She put the bouquet of flowers in her hand, then opened one of the gift towns in her hand. She was surprised when she saw a small, sparkling white watch made of 17-carat crystal.

"Wow, this is beautiful. Thank you." Zuri immediately wore Miguel's gift on her left hand. "You are indeed an ideal son-in-law who can make me happy."

Miguel smiled happily at Zuri's praise. He even proudly raised his eyebrows upwards, looking at Blake with a mocking gaze.

"Of course, I want to make you happy. Especially after a few days in the hospital, it must not be fun." Miguel acted like a great guy in front of Amora and Zuri, deliberately trying to heat Blake up.

"I'm so happy, Miguel. You're really reliable. It's so different from that guy...." Zuri showed those words to Blake. "Let alone giving me a surprise like this, he never even gave me flowers. He just pisses me off. He's unemployed, poor and useless. That sucks."

"I've got a job, Mom." Blake opened his voice, making everyone's eyes on him. "Tomorrow, I start working at Fortunity Corp."

Hearing that Blake had been accepted into Foturnity Corp upset Miguel. He still couldn't accept Blake's claim to be Mr. Hover's messenger."What? Seriously." Zuri couldn't believe that Blake had a job now. "It's a big, well-known company, right? There's no way a guy who can't do anything like you can get a job.""Yeah, that's because of me." Miguel smiled proudly at Amora and Zuri, looking in front of them. "I've recommended him to the manager of the company to take him on because he happens to be my cousin."Miguel took advantage of the situation to boast in front of Amora and Zuri. As well as to avenge his earlier hurt to Blake for humiliating him in front of Mario.Amora glanced at Miguel with a small smile. "Ah, thank you, for helping me, Miguel."Amora smiled kindly, feeling happy that Miguel had granted her request. She thought that if Blake had gotten a job, it would at least reduce Zuri's babbling a bit."Of course." Miguel lifted his collar proudly. "No problem. I did it all

Blake emphasized his words to Zuri, "I've told you honestly that I do work as a manager."Miguel was annoyed to hear that. "Ah, never mind, don't make up stories. Are you in a fairy tale?"Yes, my goodness. Your husband is useless, Amora. He's acting like a big shot right now." Zuri snorted in annoyance. She was on Miguel's side and trusted him more than her daughter-in-law.Miguel raised both eyebrows, smiling at Zuri, happy he could now work with the middle-aged woman to further humiliate Blake."He's a very shameless person." Miguel grinned. "What he should do is accept the fact of being a toilet cleaner instead of pretending to be a manager."Blake looked at Miguel with his cold eyes and flat face. "The shameless one is you, claiming credit for getting me hired there."Miguel's eyes bulged. He couldn't believe the man before he dared to say such a thing to him. "You're... insolent."Miguel clenched his hands into fists, moving quickly to throw a punch at Blake, but Blake was quick

Amora was surprised by what Alice said. She felt that her friend had gone too far."You're just going to embarrass her." Alice emphasized that to Blake. "Amora doesn't deserve this, you know?""Yeah, if you feel like a good husband to my friend, you should be able to give her the real thing."Eva was also annoyed at Blake for humiliating Amora like this."Or if you can't give her the real thing, at least don't give her fake stuff like this. You suck. You really pissed me off." Eva was babbling and very talkative especially when it came to Blake."It's not fake. I gave her the real thing because she's my wife."Of course Blake's words took the two people by surprise and they didn't immediately believe it because they knew very well that Lorax watches were so expensive."Do you think we're so stupid that we can't tell the difference between real and fake Lorax watches?" Alice was really annoyed at Blake's words."I'd rather you buy a 100-dollar flower vase than a real watch." Eva emphas

Blake immediately cut Amora off. "Come on, let's go home."Blake opened the door for Amora, but her two friends immediately approached them and looked at the car. "Wow, this car is really nice. You're the driver, right?"Eva bent her body slightly, looked into the car and circulated her gaze in amazement."Wow, this is really a very luxurious car. The person who owns this car must be very rich." The woman's eyes lit up as she raised her eyebrows in admiration. "No, I'm not the driver." Blake emphasized that point."Alah, no need to lie like that. Just admit it." Alice looked sarcastically at Blake. "That's pretty impressive for a lousy, useless person like you.""Your boss must be very rich." Eva looked at Blake while nodding her head. "If that's the case, maybe you can help me get to know your boss."Eva seemed

This situation made Amora feel uncomfortable because her two friends were with them and she was afraid that it would only make things difficult for Blake. She already knew how the two friends were and they would definitely make Blake pay for their groceries too and Amora didn't want that to happen because she knew how Blake's finances were."What? It's not what I expected." Alice chuckled while grinding her head at the store in front of them now. "Uh, even the longest clothes here look full of dust." Eva pursed her lips while making a face of disgust. Amora just exhaled softly. She had deliberately brought them to another shopping place and it wasn't even unexpected by them before."Well, of course we can't expect much from this troublesome man." Alice glanced at Blake sarcastically. "It can only be to this extent.""I think we're really going into that shop." Eva pointed towards the large store that was their previous stop. Alice scrolled through her phone, reading some reviews about the fancy restaurant. "Look, all the ratings are very good and it's certain that the food there must be very expensive."Eva nodded while exhaling harshly. "Ah, my day is really ruined because of that damn man."The two of them continued to babble, whispering behind Amora and Blake. Until Blake finally got out of the car and opened the door for Amora. Of course it made Amora frown. "We're going to eat here?""Yes." Blake answered with confidence. "Come with me."Amora nodded and got out of the car. Of course, that made Eva and Alice rush out of the car as well."Amora, don't have high expectations." Eva raised her voice, laughing along wi

How could Father be moved just like that without any prior notice?" Zuri asked, her voice filled with concern and confusion. "My daughter, it was Blake who decided to transfer me to a better care facility. Everything was arranged properly," Jhonson said with a smile, his voice sounding stronger than before. There was a brief silence before his grandfather finally said, "I understand. But you know, Blake, I don’t mind staying in a regular room. I don’t need special treatment."
