CHAPTER FOURTEEN: The victim

" Good morning Sir, the police chief need you in his office now," Alex said, immediately he spotted James entering the station.

" This early morning.. what happened?" He asked worriedly.

" He didn't reveal it to me,he only told me to call you as soon as you get to the station," Alex said, while James sighed.

He hopes that it's good news. In the past, whenever the police chief is looking for him,he will go without any worry but now, it's rare for it not to be bad news.

He knocked on his door and after instructing him to enter,he went in and a glance at the police chief,he knew all is not well.

" Somebody was also killed yesterday," he broke the news to him, immediately James sat down.

" Another victim or just a random murder?" He asked to be sure.

" it's another victim I suppose. The police that went there yesterday night, said the victim was killed the same way others were killed," the police chief said.
