" Good morning Sir, I heard you sent for me," James said to the police chief after he entered his office.

" Yes, the police commissioner instructed me to come with you to his office," the police chief said.

"I Hope there's no problem Sir?" He asked with anxiety. James has been avoiding this kind of situation because he is afraid to face the police commissioner without any progress to show regarding the case.

He fears that they might remove his hand from the case and hand it over to another unit,the reason for trying to avoid that.

" I also don't know what the problem is, but it sounded more like an emergency,the police chief said.

" Let us be on our way!" The police chief said, while James opened the door in respect.
